I cannot recommend Ines highly enough. I have just spent 5 months trying to sell my business. The buyers solicitor and the buyer made the sale more complicated and stressful than it needed to be and throughout the whole experience Ines was supportive and showed real empathy for my situation. I have used a lot of solicitors in my career and this is the first time I have genuinely felt as though my solicitor was fighting my corner and supporting me through the process, not just following a legal path. I never really felt like "a client", Ines was always incredibly professional but also made me feel like I was being spoken to as a peer and a friend. She made sure that she carefully and clearly explained all my options, she did not just confuse me with legal jargon. When the sale fell through Ines really supported me with the disappointment and the issues that surrounded the buyer pulling out at the last minute. I would recommend Ines and Harrowells to anyone looking for legal support. Thank you.

Richard Hugill recently provided support to me for a problem with a tenant. I was concerned that his rates seemed expensive but I needed to move swiftly and so progressed the issue with him. All I can say is you get what you pay for! Richard deals with things so quickly and he knows his subject inside out. I have concluded that in fact I probably saved money by using his services due to his dynamic no-nonsense actions. I hope that I am not in the position of needing his services again, but I would not hesitate to use him and to recommend him to anybody wanting a top notch solution.

Very rude people

Not reviewing about solicitor services,jos had business with them and didn’t get paid , and had been told that I can send it to court but they not suggesting it , not wondering why.

Since losing my father I have had the task of dealing with the sale of his property. I was dreading the task due to having had a couple of stressful experiences buying and selling my own properties in the past. I hadn’t used Harrowells before, so this was my first time. The Solicitor who dealt with the sale was Emma Mennell, She was so lovely to talk to put my mind at ease and any issues that did arise she dealt with quickly and professionally keeping me in the loop at all times. Nothing was too much trouble and she was very reassuring throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend Harrowells for their Conveyancing Services especially Emma who also explained everything that was written in legal terms so I totally understand everything I was signing for. A Huge thank you to Emma for your Services during a very sensitive time when you’ve lost a loved one.

My mum and I couldn't be more pleased with the service we have received. My mum wanted a discretionary trust to protect her personal injury settlement as she is vulnerable, in addition to a few other reasons. Ed Taylor got back to our request straight away and as soon as we spoke to him on the phone we immediately felt comfortable, he reassured my mum regarding a few things and then from there we knew it was the right choice to go with Harrowells. Initially we must've spoken to about 40 different firms and that is no exaggeration. They either took too long to reply, quoted us a ridiculously high fixed fee or just came across really difficult in general, it just didn't feel right. Before calling Harrowells I had a look at their reviews and I was a little hesitant as they're not all 4-5 stars, but sometimes you just have to see for yourself, make an enquiry and if it feels good - go with it. We have no complaints whatsoever, Ed advised my mum every step of the way to the best of his expertise but without being forceful, he struck the perfect balance between advising and following her wishes and that is precisely what a great solicitor does. In the end he delivered exactly what she required, we couldn't be more satisfied.

Sue Richardson was my conveyancing solicitor over the past 9 months getting a sale and purchase over the line whilst dealing with one buyer totally disappearing! Sue maintained a superb professional relationship and communicated regularly and efficiently keeping me informed at all stages of the process. A credit to her profession!!
