A pretty typical conveyancing experience unfortunately. They didn't cause any major issues with my sale but as per my experience with most conveyancing solicitors has been they had a lack of attention to detail and required constant chasing to achieve anything. For example despite being told I had agreed a new sale price with the buyer three times already they still put the wrong amount on the final sale contract that I had to correct at point of signing. They also seem to be unwilling to embrace technology requiring me to make a costly visit to their offices just to sign things that could have been done remotely. Still I am giving them 4 stars because they were friendly and got my sale completed in the end, and as I mention my standards for conveyancing solicitors are pretty low from past experience so the fact they didn't actively delay or de-rail the sale is the best I can say of any solicitor it seems!

Ruth was our solicitor for both the sale of my old home and the purchase of my new one, and I honestly couldn’t fault the service from start to finish. Everything went as smoothly as you could hope for, and the communication from both Ruth and Sharon was excellent throughout. Having had bad experiences with solicitors in the past, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Ruth and her team completely changed my opinion. They were professional, efficient, approachable, and always kept us informed, making what can be a very stressful process feel so much easier. Although I have no plans to ever move again, if I ever did, Ruth and her team at Hopkins would be my first choice without hesitation. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional conveyancing service. A huge thank you to Ruth, Sharon, and everyone at Hopkins for making the whole process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Ruth Pilling Kirkby in Ashfield branch. We have been delighted with the conveyancing service provided by Ruth and her team. We started the process in early March and moved early June. There is plentiful parking by the office so easy to drop off the required paperwork. Ruth was very approachable and responded quickly to any questions we had and also acted quickly on our behalf. We had a special request for extra time from exchange of contracts to completion and this was duly noted and we were kept informed as the exchange date approached. We felt fully informed and connected with the process at all times . Ruth also worked well with our estate agent and this ensured the sale went through smoothly . We would highly recommend Ruth Pilling and the Kirkby conveyancing department.

Firstly, what a polite and professional experience from walking into the office. Polite and welcoming reception. Robert made me feel at ease straight away and gave expert advice throughout my appointment. Robert had me completed settlement agreement back in less than 12 hours!

Not worth the expense. Poor, lazy advice, if you get any advice at all that is. Dont bother complaining either as the managing director will just fob you off through an inadequate and non objective and defensive reply.
