Having used Alletsons before, I knew their staff were hard-working and very thorough but Clare and Kelly really came up trumps in the week leading up to the completion date on my purchase and my sale. My purchasers suddenly decided they were ready to proceed and provided Clare and Kelly with only two or three days' notice. The pair pulled out all the stops and Kelly even broke her holiday to ensure everything went smoothly on the Friday completion date.

Both Clare and Kelly were kind, calm, efficient and professional during my house sale which was by no means straightforward. There were many hold ups and complications but they were always responsive and positive and worked efficiently to get the sale through with very tight deadlines. I would highly recommend them.

We were lucky to have Lucy and her team support us through the sale & purchase of our property. The portal was a bit confusing, but any questions we had were answered quickly and we were able to progress. We needed to provide everything in the onboarding which is time consuming but great to get the majority of this done at the beginning. Previously, we had to provide random documents throughout and it was a frustrating process. Lucy was quick at dealing with issues, communicated well & we managed to complete on our preferred date that we had asked for at the beginning. It took around 3 months to complete with a chain of 3 which was great & all down to Lucy & the team. I did check in weekly, using a simple button on the portal which allowed me to keep track of the move. Thank you Lucy & team for making the process as smooth as possible. We would definitely recommend them.

I would give a 0 if there were such an option. This company cares little about clients but more about money. I used them for conveyancing and the experience was utterly horrible (especially compared with other solicitors that I have worked with - those are much more thorough, clear and responsible). There was a complete lack of proactive communication during the process (including who would follow up on the case when the solicitor in charge was on leave), except when they sent me the bill. There was no sign of understanding and some staff members came across as being arrogant and rude. There are many better solicitors out there. Try to avoid this one.

We have used Alletsons for 2 separate conveyancing transactions this year and they have been excellent in both. I used Alletsons to deal with the grant of probate and also sale of a property. I cannot fault them for all they did. They were on the ball at every point, quick to respond, obtainable on the phone for queries. I am so pleased I used them and would not hesitate using them in the future. I could give zero if I could it’s a shockingly awful place to go .i wish I read some of the reviews before I contacted them . Stay away from this people for your own good. Property I was purchasing failed to go through and they charged me nearly £300 for searches even though the whole process didn’t last more than 2 weeks and I called and told them the situation but the only refund 1/4 of the amount I paid them and when I asked what has been done by them they could only show me the fee for identification Fee which it’s about £60 . So they robbed me in day light .shame on you
As you have already been in contact with our Management Team regarding your aborted file, we would like to reiterate that the abortive fee of £240 was charged in accordance with our terms and conditions, which you agreed to upon instruction. This fee is not the result of any fault on our part, but rather reflects the work we undertook on your file prior to its cancellation by you when your purchase failed to proceed. As outlined in our terms, the reduced fees were applicable in the event of an aborted matter.
I wouldn’t even give them 1 star. The experience that we received was appalling with how they handled my mother’s probate. They nearly lost our house sale because they do everything on a Friday, which I had to get involved and sort what they couldn’t do. They would take weeks/months to reply to emails. And when it came to final settlements they kept getting the liabilities wrong and it took months each time to rewrite it and still kept getting it wrong. To the point I told them that I would sort out the liability and share out the money equally. With all of this it cost us £18,000. They have no empathy for anyone and are only there for the money. Please do not use these solicitors to do your loved ones probate and I strongly recommend you to do it yourself on the GOV website. Saving you time and money. It took 3 years and 3 months for it to be finalise.
