A really excellent service. After the conveyancing firm I'd previously used were shut down by the SRA (without having registered by property with the Land Registry), I had to instruct new conveyancers to complete the work. Peacock & Co was recommended to me by my neighbours. Amber, who took on my case, was superb. She was communicative, helpful, and highly efficient. The Land Registry process is now complete. After having a really terrible experience with my previous conveyancers, I am really grateful to have had such a positive experience with this firm. Amber from Peacock and Co helped my wife and me purchase the remaining share of my shared ownership scheme flat. Amber delivered on time and provided updates as tasks were completed, which I have struggled to get from solicitors in the past. She also provided clear instructions on what was needed from my side, which made the experience easy. She also advised on where to get guidance on stamp duty.

If I could leave more stars, I would. Marijana and Mubashara are bar none. Marijana helped me purchase my first home. I am not from the UK, so the process was very new and scary to me. She was SO thorough. She gave very sound advice, found lots of issues that the seller needed to remedy, and insisted that they cover the cost of these items. Mubashara is EXCELLENT. You always talk to the same person, and they got back to us in less than a day for every query (and I had lots of them). They both respond line-by-line to emails, and keep everything super organised. We ended up completing in 8.5 weeks. The cost was about £350 more than online, but I would pay this again and again for the level of service we got. I was asking around our colleagues and friends for recommendations for solicitors before we started, and every single one said, 'my solicitor was bad'. Marijana is the opposite: I would recommend her to absolutely anyone, but especially to women who want someone honest, thorough, and very smart, BUT ALSO kind and not condescending during the process.
