Ash and Amber made the sale of our late Mum’s house a smooth, fuss‑free experience. It wasn’t the most straightforward transaction, but their prompt, practical responses - and the way they kept all parties fully informed - made the whole process far less stressful than it might have been. Ash was always at the end of the phone when needed, and was keen to talk things through rather than send lengthy emails back and forth. 7 years ago, Nik assisted me with the purchase of my house. The property was bought in full cash from my parents, and I asked about creating a postnuptial agreement to protect it. Instead of helping, he asked about my income compared to my husband’s and told me I would “have to share it anyway.” He even suggested that the only way to protect the house would be to divorce now. Because I was heavily pregnant at the time, I trusted him and the firm to guide me correctly. Now that I am going through a divorce, I am having to fight for the very house I intended to protect. Thanks to Nik and Rose Legal, I am in this position. I will never return to them, not even for something as simple as drafting my will. When they prepared my will, they even persuaded me to leave the house to my husband to avoid tax, despite me clearly stating that my intention was for it to go back to my family or to my daughter. Their advice was unhelpful, inappropriate, and completely contrary to what I asked for.
Very poor service from Aneta Kapron. She took a lot of money from me for a consultation, which wasn't very helpful at all, and later completely ignored numerous emails from me and the apparently transferred me to some other solicitors at Rose and Rose (without letting me know) who also took a long time to respond to emails. She also stated a monetary amount which the initial service would cost, which then turned out not to be the amount I was asked to pay (which of course was more). I am told she has since moved to a different solicitor (Setfords Solicitors). Other Rose and Rose solicitors Zubair and Isaac were also not very helpful, only interested in sending me numerous documents in regards to making payment to them rather than answering any of my questions. Gowsigan was slightly more helpful in answering emails and he was the one who finally told me that Aneta did not work there anymore. Nor she or anyone else bothered to tell me that before. Overall very poor service and I have decided not to use them, even though I already gave Aneta money for the consultation as mentioned. Avoid them if you can.
We recently bought and sold a property with support from Rose and Rose. Ash Islam and Amber Khinda were excellent throughout and helped us navigate the complexities of buyers dropping out, probate, and much more. They were incredibly responsive from the first phone call through to completion and gave us sound advice throughout. We'd recommend them to anyone looking for a competent, trustworthy solicitor in the Kingston area.

Lein was honestly great at what she does I couldn’t recommend her enough to others. I was in a dispute and she wrote a letter for me and she made sure I was kept calm throughout the whole matter and accomplished what I wanted by the end of it. She is so lovely and kind which you don’t see in a lot of solicitors these days

I was quoted £20 over the phone for the attestation of my statutory declaration of solvency. However, when I arrived for my appointment, I was told by Zubair Dharamsi that the cost would actually be £40. Other companies were offering the same service for around £5, although they would take approximately two days. I chose this company because I was told they could provide the service much quicker, but I was very disappointed to find that the price had doubled when I arrived. They also only accepted cash payment and did not accept card or bank transfer. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend considering other companies before using this service.

She was highly responsive, helpful and very clear throughout the process - all attributes that the previous property solicitor we used did not have… their fees also seemed reasonable compared to other quotes we received.
