We used Bradley Bernett for our conveyancing. Bradley was efficient and we trusted him to get things done. He was consistently available to support us though what turned out to be a more complicated process than we thought. He always offered us a calm and reasoned view on matters. When a potential issue arose a few years later he introduced us to Adrian Boulter. Adrian gave us some good advice on the matter and even though it wasn't something we could pursue, it was helpful to talk through options with him and receive some expert advice.

We engaged Downs solicitors to sell and purchase our current/new properties. What can I say other than wow/amazing! Yes we had a short chain luckily, we had first time buyers and we bought a vacant property with no forward chain but the whole thing was done in around 10 weeks from the moment of sale agreed to exchange! Bill Rashbrook Was amazing! Very efficient and always on the ball, keeping us informed all the way whilst preparing for the next step in advance. Claire Lacy, his legal assistant, was on to us immediately with all the required forms and payments to sign making the whole thing as easy and simple as it can be! I experienced a dreadful situation which was a neighbour dispute. My appointed solicitor James Freeman was excellent, i cant thank him enough!!!! After 18 months of pure hell the situation was finally over and it was the dream outcome. James was patient, sympathetic and was prepared to try different approaches to tackle the problem. He was polite and quick to return calls and emails. In contrast the admin staff rarely answered the phone.

Selling our property during the pandemic has not been as straight forward as we would have wished, understandably it did take much longer than usual, however I was reassured and felt very confident with Foys solicitors that our sale was being dealt with as promptly as it possibly could under the circumstances and we can't thank Jayne Snowden enough for all her efforts and expertise along the way. We Used Jayne at Foys for the purchase of our property several years ago and she was the first person we approached for the sale of our house, this was the very first time we have ever sold a property, Jayne not only contacted us personally on every occasion, she gave us the reassurance we needed with her outstanding knowledge and expertise and in comparison to the other solicitors being used in the chain she stood out to be the very best by far.
