    House conveyancing service

    Must say Eatons House Conveyancing service in Bingley Office was very good. We ran into unexpected issues with the sale of my mums house( moved to care home) as her house had not been registered with the Land Registery. At a fraught time, I found that Louise sorted everything out, and the house sale proceeded. The legal costs were not to high, despite the extra work entailed , must say the Estate Agents dealing with the house sale, their charges were high compared to the amount of actual work they had to do. Would rate Eatons as an excellent service.

    A mess

    I have recently had a conveyancing engagement with Eatons Bingley that did not go as cleanly as it should have. This started with the usage of an app to communicate through. I was originally told all queries and requests would come through, but this was not the case. Requests and queries also came through emails which I was not looking out for causing delays in the process, if i was told communication would be between multiple methods this would have been better. Next the fee estimate originally provided was out by over 50% - there was a phone call to explain these changes (such as using my LISA fee which I had specified in my engagement but was told this was not recorded) if this was communicated up front and in detail (such as a potential fees paragraph) it would have looked much better and felt more honest. The worst experience with this engagement has been attention to detail, this was flagged in emails as many were started with ‘Jonathan’ without any pleasantries. While pleasantries would have been nice the issue is my name is spelt ‘Jonathon’ and this has now been recorded incorrectly to the council regarding council tax which just appears unprofessional. Louise is the reason this is not a 1 star review her emails included my name spelt correctly, were received quickly and contained all information required.
