Extremely disappointed with our experience with this firm, particularly with the way the manager, Michaela, spoke to us. My father had previously instructed this firm in relation to a property purchase. He paid £250 but later became unable to proceed due to a major change in his personal circumstances. He says he contacted the person dealing with his matter at the time, Asgar, my father explained that he could no longer continue with the purchase, and basically made it clear no further payments would be required. Years later, the situation had escalated considerably. More than £500 was ultimately taken from my father’s bank through court proceedings. My father maintains that he was unaware of those proceedings at the time because correspondence was going to an address where he was no longer living. Once we discovered what had happened, we arranged a meeting with the firm because we wanted an explanation and hoped the matter could be discussed professionally. Unfortunately, our experience with Michaela was extremely disappointing. we asked whether she was the owner. In my opinion, she appeared to hesitate and did not clearly explain her position until I asked whether she was the manager, at which point she confirmed that she was. Throughout the meeting, I found her manner rude, dismissive and lacking professionalism. When discussing the money being pursued, she made comments about her staff having to be paid for the work they had carried out. Given that we were there trying to understand how a £250 matter had resulted in more than £900 being taken through court proceedings, I found the attitude completely inappropriate. We were also told during the meeting that their own records showed a telephone conversation in 2023 in which my father had said that he had already paid £250 and was not paying anything further. Rather than feeling that our concerns were being properly listened to, we were met with comments about my father needing to change his mailing address and about staff needing to be paid. Regardless of who is ultimately legally correct about the disputed fees, there is a professional and respectful way to speak to clients dealing with a serious financial matter. In my opinion, that standard was not met during our meeting. I understand that a solicitor is entitled to pursue fees that they believe are legitimately owed, and I am not claiming that a Google review determines the legal dispute. I am reviewing how we were personally treated when we attended the firm to discuss it. Based on the attitude, communication and customer service we experienced from the manager, Michaela, I would not recommend this firm. Absolutely disgusting to scoff and practically mock it a bit, the ‘manager’ should know when being a busy person does not mean we will remember all the mails in existence to change addresses, we are all human, Michael needs some rework on her customer service skills and speech language!

Great communication and extremely prompt service, Adrielle was most helpful during the entire process.

I had a great experience with Kirsty, she is a lovely helpful young lady, explained everything in a very clear concise manner. Had to cancel an appointment due to a family matters but she just rearranged to accommodate my next appointment. I would highly recommend using Kirsty to all in the future. Thank you Kirsty x
