We pre-bid on one of 10 plots of land and our completion date was set for a few weeks later. We chose Farnfields and are so glad we did because other plot purchasers had no end of problems and some had to change solicitors mid-way through negotiations. Farnfields were brilliant. Kate Furlong was diligent, efficient and always answered or returned our calls. Our purchase became complicated due to the auctioneer not preparing the right details in the pre-auction pack. How Kate managed to overcome all the obstacles we will never know, but after months of negotiations, wrong plans and poorly filled out TP1 documentation from the seller's solicitors we finally completed. Unfortunately due to all the complications Farnfields had to increase their fees. We hadn't budgeted for it and asked for a financial breakdown of costs. It helped us understand where the money had gone. We realised the difficulties being thrown at Farnfields by the seller's solicitor one after another. If Kate was unsure about anything, she referred to her senior colleagues, so we knew we were always getting the best advice. Julian was particularly helpful on completion day. All in all a brilliant service from Farnfields from the receptionists upwards. Kate's assistant, India, was helpful too. We always felt listened to. We now have our own little piece of countryside preserved for wildlife. It is a long-held dream come true thanks to the team at Farnfields, especially Kate Furlong. We can't praise her highly enough.
