As a Licensed Conveyancer within the Residential Conveyancing Team at Redkite, I have been helping clients move house for over two decades. I joined the predecessor firm of Redkite Solicitors in September 1997 and qualified as a Paralegal in June 2000. I deal with a variety of residential transactions from sales and purchases, preparing auction legal packs, leasehold properties and new builds. One of the things I enjoy most about my job is that I am able to build excellent relationships with house movers who return to me with repeat instructions time after time. I also really value the relationships I have with the local Estate Agents and am very proud that they are happy to recommend my services, and the services of Redkite, to their clients. Getting to know the people I am acting for, whether it is assisting them in buying their first home, dream home, or selling to move up the property ladder, is a great feeling and I always strive to make the experience as stress free as possible. I realise that time is of the essence when moving home so I make sure that I am very proactive when conducting a sale or a purchase and that I keep everyone who is involved in the transaction fully up to date with any developments. Originally from Carmarthen I now live in Laugharne and, in my spare time, I am the club secretary for Laugharne Mini Rugby where I very much enjoy watching my twin boys play. I am also an avid reader and enjoy spending time with my family.

Excellent service

Couldn't ask for better service and support
You always hear stories about appalling legal support for buying a house, but It was quite the opposite with Red Kite. As a first time buyer Stephanie was more than helpful during the entire process, replying to my emails and phone calls in a very timely manor (normally within the hour). She kept me updated on the purchase, without being prompted or chased. All the communication was clear and easy to understand. Our house purchase happened when Stephanie was on holiday, so she got someone covered the work when she was away, to ensure completion was not delayed. Again Melissa carried on the brilliant service during this period. I honestly couldn't recommend Red Kite (Specifically Stephanie & Melissa) enough. We will definitely be using Red Kite in the future!!

Fantastic Service!
Melissa has done an absolutely amazing job with the sale of my old house and purchase of new property. I was kept informed throughout the whole process, and if I had any questions they were answered immediately. The last part of the purchase was very stressful due to the unprofessionalism of another solicitor in another company, but Melissa was very professional and sorted the whole situation allowing the sale to be completed.

Amazing service.
We used redkite Carmarthen office to purchase our home. We has 3 state.pts as we kept having problems and the seller pulled out after 4 months. Melissa and cherie were amazing and dealt with things so quickly for us to get our sale through before our mortgage expired. We was always kept informed and updated. We recommended to a relative who also used redkite. Would highly recommend if your looking for a honest and reliable solicitor to get the job done to a high standard.
