Demetrios qualified in 1993 and joined Tuckers in 1996. He represents clients in cases of serious violent crime, drugs offenced, fraud and money laundering, firearms and other offensive weapons and terrorism offences. His philosophy is to try and take the client out of the criminal justice system if possible, for instance by using psychiatric reports, showing that clients are not fit to plead or stand trial, or showing that CPS charging guidelines have not been met. When the evidence is overwhelming, he builds strong mitigation with the assistance of reports, references and alternative to custody proposals.

Excellent legal help

My legal case was complicated and I was a a disadvantage because I went into my initial police interview without a solicitor, and due to my mental state at the time - I shared too much with the police, believing that I could trust them. Tuckers helped me with my situation and the final result was that I was acquitted in court due to there being no actual evidence to connect me to the charges I faced. Tuckers were thorough in their work, sympathetic to my situation, and went above and beyond what was expected of them in order to ensure that the best result could happen for me. I would advise anyone in my situation never to enter a police interview without legal representation from Tuckers. The police are not our friends and shouldn’t be trusted.
