mosshaselhurst Solicitors was established in Northwich in 1906 and is one of the most respected legal practices in Cheshire. The partners in 1906 were Harold Moreton Moss and William Milling and the practice was then known as Milling & Moss. This Partnership ceased in 1917 and Harold Moss continued to practice under the name of H M Moss. In 1946, John Shand Haselhurst entered into Partnership with Harold Moss, and the Partnership become known by the name of Moss & Haselhurst. In 2005 the name was changed to mosshaselhurst Solicitors and over 110 years on the practice continues to grow.

    Sensible advice, professionally delivered

    Advice sought for a work related issue (employment law, possibly unfair dismissal). Mr Rooney gave sensible and balanced advice. Eventually, based on that advice, we elected not to pursue the matter - mainly because he carefully the potential impact and time frames involved. Just because you might be in the right doesn’t mean it’s always the right decision to pursue every matter to its conclusion.

      We used Mosshaselhurst when purchasing our first house locally in Northwich, I can't speak for the other reviews and which solicitor they dealt with but Claire Brown was amazing! Chasing seller solicitors, replying to emails in sometimes under 5 minutes (!!) and even patiently explaining things to me on the phone as it was our first time buying and we had a lot of questions. After all this they came in under what they initially quoted as an estimate. Would give 5+ stars if I could!

      I contacted by phone Mosshaselhurst over 11 days ago and was told somebody would be in touch. After not hearing anything after a further 5 days I phoned again. Apologies we're given and again was told somebody would be in touch. To date 11 days later I have still not heard from them. Very disappointed in their customer response. I always feel that if they are busy then a phone call to say that I hadn't been forgotten would have been acceptable, knowing that I would be dealt with soon.

      Little to no communication. No responses to emails, have to chase and no answer when called or when messages were left. Had the first appointment in January for a document to be drawn up and it still hasn’t been finalised, in October! Very poor service. Would not recommend.
