I had recently moved to Belper and needed a fairly simple will drafted, so emailed several local solicitors; Cassandra's reply was the most comprehensive and gave me all the information I required to choose a solicitor.
Cassandra was very easy to deal with, talked me through a couple of queries I had and raised a few issues that I hadn't even considered; she obviously has a wealth of knowledge and experience in this area of the law.
It was all very straight forward.

I had already googled for recommendations and came across Shacklocks with some good reviews. Needless to say I was not disappointed, my case handled by Ben Stubbins and his team.
Clear from the outset what to expect from the process and kept informed along the way.
Responses to queries were timely and often direct contact from Ben himself.

Going through a matrimonial finances dispute at my age ( retired) has put an enormous emotional pressure on me BUT I employed the services of Ben Stubbins to act on my behalf and I have to say it was the best decision I have made in a long time. Right from the start he made me feel confident that things would work out for me and they did. When I felt like I would end up with nothing ,he reassured me that it wouldn’t be the case. He listened to my ramblings and always cleared my head of inconsequential rubbish. There was never a time when I couldn’t speak to someone with Marcella ably
stepping in when Ben wasn’t available. Finally the dispute has ended ; my pension is in tact and I have kept my dignity and integrity. Jo Flanagan should be commended for her professionalism and humour with dealing with everything I seem to ask if her; I’m really grateful for that.

After 30+ years of a controlling and stressful marriage I separated and then applied for divorce . I was so scared and stressed going forward with it, someone suggested Shacklocks LLP to me so I proceeded …. After a long time coming and with support from the whole team they investigated , interrogated and succeeded in getting everything I was legally owed from my now ex husband. I never in a million years did I think I was going to be awarded by the judge so much money and very large percentage of his pensions, I was so shocked and extremely happy… Ben and his team was so compassionate sympathetic and empathetic to all my mental health needs,stress, the loss of my recent partner came as a shock to us all but the whole team got me through it…… I do not hesitate to recommend Shacklocks LLP to you for you legal needs what ever they may be….. For the best results or largest pay outs that you are legally owed then they are your solicitors and investment advisors I have no doubt…….. I will be going back to Shacklocks to help me and advise me the best way to invest my ex husbands payout once I receive it ………..

Ben recently organised some marriage related legal documentation that I required.
He gave me honest, direct advice before we commenced the process. Ben then gave me time to consider his advice, and I never felt ‘sold to’. He asked open questions to fully understand what I needed, and consulted with me throughout the process.
Everything was dealt with in a timely, and efficient manner with a positive outcome.
I am aware that Ben has also worked on other cases for friends and family who have described Ben in an extremely positive way. He has a friendly and personable approach.

Ben Stubbins….held my hand through the worst years of my life, he gave me back my strength and confidence that was knocked out of me over the years of my marriage. So I spoke to Ben as a new mum and a weak wife, Ben was incredible, straight talking and calm. My divorce went to court and Ben was calm easing my anxiety. We got exactly what Ben told me we would get back when I had my free chat with him years earlier. Ben never gave me any false hope, he was honest and I don’t think he maybe realises just how much he helped me, not just getting what I deserved out of my divorce but mentally rebuilding me back to the strong woman I was! Thank you Ben! You are fab!
