I went to shacklocks to create my will and it was handled by Jude. She was amazing. Super informative, answered all my questions and answered questions that I hadn't even thought of. So friendly and really put my mind at ease with the situation. She was very thorough and it was all done and dusted in a very short amount of time. Jude was fantastic and can't recommend using shacklocks enough.

I don't often bother with writing reviews but it can be hard to find trusty legal support. I hope this honest acknowledgement of good service and a fair outcome is useful.
Firstly, don't be fooled by the modest location of this practice. Our solicitor, Ben Stubbins, listened patiently to our needs whenever required and fought our corner professionally and without over-complicating matters.
Even though events were challenging and, at times, beyond our control, I felt we were supported with integrity throughout. Ultimately we achieved a desired outcome although it was anything but straightforward and we are very grateful for steering us through the process.
If you seek a polite, no-fuss attitude with profession graft and integrity then this is a good place to start.

My experience with Ben Stubbins and his assistant Marcella Kilbane was excellent from start to finish. Ben was quickly able to cut through the enormous detail and suggest a sensible financial package to enable a clean break. Communication was very responsive in comparison to my ex husbands solicitor and Ben was able to see what was acheivable and fair to both parties. I am pleased this has led to an amicable end to our marriage particularly as we share two daughters. Marcella handled the settlement payment very efficiently. I am delighted to say I am for the first time mortgage free. Thank you both
