We instructed Laura Anderson to act on our behalf over an ongoing building dispute. We found her very thorough, extremely professional and most of all, kept us informed of every step throughout. By far the Worst Solicitor I have ever used. Absolutely useless failed to inform us there was a building dispute on the property we were purchasing. Took the seller to contact us by email explaining we couldn’t possibly know what was happening as our solicitor had not replied to their solicitor even though he was informed weeks prior. We were carrying on with our purchase totally unaware of the dispute which was going to court. Never even had the decency to apologise for what was clearly his mistake but quick to take the money for the incomplete sale of the property. We would never recommend Fishers we would tell anyone to avoid. We have now found a new solicitor for our purchase of another property who so far has been fabulous and half the price.

Emma Allen represented me during the finalisation of the terms of a settlement agreement. From day one until the end she was thorough, professional and showed a great deal of empathy. I had been let down by my trade union and Emma stepped in to finalise the terms of the agreement. She had my best interests at heart and worked hard to achieve a favourable outcome. I could not recommend both her and Fishers Solicitors more highly, very professional and helpful throughout.

Families!

Darren took on a job which turned out to be very difficult with families falling out over money resulting in protracted periods of silences and then litigation. It has been a very stressful time for the Trustees, but at all times Darren was the voice of reason, professionalism and calmness. The matter has now concluded and personally I am so grateful for Darren's help and assistance throughout resulting in a very reasonable outcome for the family he was acting for. Thank you

Fishers appreciates that this is a difficult and sensitive time following the loss of a loved one. However, under the terms of our engagement as an SRA-regulated firm of solicitors, our client is the Executor of the estate. This means that we must provide updates and correspond directly with the Executor, rather than with individual beneficiaries. The Executor may, of course, share information about the progress of the estate administration with beneficiaries as they deem appropriate.
