    We tend to contact solicitors at times of challenge when we may be feeling vulnerable or emotional. I was so relieved to have Kitsons working on my behalf. This is a well known local firm of long standing. They were knowledgeable and efficient but also very approachable. I was kept fully informed. Communications were clear and prompt. I received excellent advice and nothing seemed too much trouble. I should also add that their location is very accessible with parking right outside their door.

    Tried a few solicitors in Plymouth due to a few fall throughs and just went with whoever the estate agent suggested. Kitson Boyce were definitely the best of what we had. Lots of people say buying a house is held up by solicitors, I've only bought one so I don't know - but if it is true, not of Kitson Boyce! Very helpful, polite and useful for dealing with the other parties, especially an 'enthusiastic' estate agent. Thanks very much to Sophie as well as Rhiannon.

    I had poor communication throughout, I personally had to chase the majority of the documents we were waiting on. I was given no direction by the solicitor on how to access or get the documents I needed for my sale. I had to contact my old solicitor who was more helpful than Kitson Boyce. My solicitor was out of the office for a lot of the week and had reduced working hours making communication extremely difficult. I was frequently told “you are the client, this should be your solicitor chasing, not you”. I had to use my initiative to look up numbers and contact details for persons we were waiting on, my solicitor showed no initiative or regard for the my personal circumstances. I had a horrendous experience and would recommend avoiding Kitson Boyce.

      We were appointed as Executors of my Mother/Mother in Laws Estate and Isobel Armstrong was appointed as our lawyer handling the sale of her estate. To say Isobel was a pleasure to work with, would be an understatement.       I instructed Tony Hunt way back in 2019 to handle my divorce proceedings.(He was then working at Kitsons.) I didn't know then what an arduous and lengthy process this would turn out to be, but luckily I had the right man for the job. Tony is friendly, personable, professional, direct and calm. Obviously, he is legally proficient, but much more than this, he handles whatever events and happenings occur in a composed as well as an involved way; ultimately professional but very available as well. I would not hesitate in recommending him for all your divorce issues, which can be such a trial, even in the most simplest cases, and especially if there are any contests, or tricky, sticky or otherwise, aspects. I can't thank him enough for his care and his attention.
