I have been represented by James Halley, solicitor in the dispute resolution team on a matter concerning breach of contract involving a travel insurer. Jackson Boyd LLP was funded by my legal expenses insurer to represent my interests on my recent travel claim being refused. James assessed my case and thought the best way of winning the case would be to write to the travel insurer outlining our position and why the claim should be granted and the grounds prepared by James were accepted and resulted in the decision to award no compensation was overturned and a four-figure offer was offered instead. James Halley had my best interests in mind at all times and genuinely wanted to help me get the right result and thanks to him representing my interests and position so well, we were able to see a successful outcome. He has done an outstanding job.

Useless. Our insurers put us in touch with them to handle our claim. After WEEKS they turn around to say they weren’t going to help. Useless! So now I’m left with a week to prep for court. Well done 👍

Brilliant service. I'd been getting mega frustrated by the poor service I was getting from my car insurance company in trying to settle my wife's claim in her favour. As soon as Jackson Boyd were on the case, I was regularly kept up to date by Zoe and knew that she was fighting our corner. They managed to get the claim settled in our favour meaning I kept my no claims discount and also had my excess refunded. This was something my car insurance company had told me wouldn't likely happen at the outset even though it was entirely the 3rd party's fault. Top quality firm!

Tribunal support

We had a tribunal case raised again us and we were referred to Jackson Boyd through our insurers. The speed of prospect review for this case was slow, (which may have due to the the delay of the referral from the insurer leaving little time), so we had to use another solicitor to review the case and complete our response within the deadline at additional expense. No advice was given to request an extension at that stage. Once Jackson Boyd had accepted the case, their support was excellent - good updates, representation at the Preliminary Hearing and follow up comms. Good advice, worked in partnership and we achieved a good outcome.

Car Insurance claim

Patrick hannon and his team were great from first day off the case till the last to get it settled always keep me updated and we're professional well spoken aswell couldn't asked for anyone better to be dealing with and Patrick and his team managed to get settlement very quickly as cases can drag on but happy with time it all took would definitely recommend kackson boyd to anyone

Excellent solicitors!

After I had my accident, when another car had gone into the side of my van writing it off, I had the pleasure of dealing with Jackson Boyd solicitors, everyone involved with my case has been brilliant. Kept up to speed with the whole process, very helpful and very professional. They had dealt with the opposite insurance. After a year and a half battle, it has come to the end. I couldn’t be more happy with how I’ve been treated and how it has been dealt with.

I instructed Jackson Boyd on a no win, no fee basis. My case ran for 3 years with no progress. I was then told it was close to the time bar and asked to pay £2,000 to continue, despite the no win no fee agreement. I felt let down and would not recommend them.
