My husband and I had drawn up our Will whilst still living in the USA. As such, we needed to draw up a UK Will having relocated back to the UK a while back. Jude Wright was recommended to us and we duly contacted her with a view to sorting this out. Jude was amazing. Given that we reside in London, she immediately arranged a Zoom call for our initial meet. Everything was explained to us succinctly and efficiently. When it was time to sign paperwork we visited Derby and met at the Allestree office. Jude had everything ready and the process was extremely smooth and efficient. We are delighted with our experience and delighted that we found Jude as our solicitor.

We had several issues we wanted to address to make things easier for our son. We updated our Will. Started a new LPA and also closed a family trust. There was a mountain of paperwork to complete which we were guided with along the way by Jude Wright. She was available by phone or email and also in the office. All our worries were dealt with swiftly. A wonderful person.

It was an extremely difficult time for me when my father died, I had already placed the will with Shacklocks for safe keeping and therefore it seemed right they did the probate. We used Shacklocks to deal with the conveyancing of our family home after mum went to live in a care home. Christalla Betts was the professional that dealt with the matter and she was excellent. She was very professional, made contact at appropriate times throughout, explained matters thoroughly and importantly just got on with it before concluding the business in a timely manner. Christalla had to meet with mum in the care home, during the meeting she was very compassionate and took mums condition into account. We were very happy with Shacklocks and the work of Christalla who is a credit to the company.

We have used Shacklocks many times before regarding conveyancing and wills. We appointed Shaclocks as the solicitor recommended by Derbyshire Estate Agents in Belper had ceased trading due to a regulatory issue which was outside of our control.
