    Professional Handling of Late Mother's Affairs

    From my first contact and meeting with Tracy Griffiths at Hains & Lewis Limited, during the most harrowing time of my life, I was treated with the utmost respect and compassion. Tracy managed everything required, allowing me first to process what had happened and then supporting me in navigating and managing the legal process. Tracy and her assistant went above and beyond to ensure everything was settled. They dealt promptly with issues that arose from other parties, and I will be forever grateful for the kindness and professionalism shown to me. Once everything was concluded, which, in my view, involved a great deal of work carried out on my behalf, I finally felt a sense of release. Not happiness by any means, as the experience still feels traumatic, but I am now able to start to move forward with a more positive frame of mind, largely due to the fact that the matter was handled with such care and compassion.

    Pleasant staff, silly mistakes

    We were updating wills and setting up LPAs. Everything was clearly explained to us and the staff were all very pleasant. We were, however, a bit annoyed by some silly mistakes (incorrect details in names and addresses) which could have been picked up by checking the details in the LPAs against the wills, but the documents seem to have been treated entirely separately. Copies of the wills have been received by email but one or two pages are off centre so it looks a bit untidy when printed off. Just needs a bit more polish!

    The firm needs to improve is listening to client's needs and acting accordingly. Four attempts were needed to provide the correct engrossment of an existing Will . Advice is still awaited on future access to the original Will the firm still holds.

      Slow and unhelpful

      I used the Narberth branch for a business purchase, the solicitor was very hard to get hold of by phone and email, taking at least a week to get back to me every time. I gave her a deadline for completion as we had funding that needed to be claimed by that date, and she decided that week was when she wanted to go on holiday even though she had known this deadline all along, and it had to be extended as she missed the first one. She decided that she would do it when she got back. By this time we would have lost all our funding so i insisted that she do it before her holiday. Now i need a solicitor letter to confirm the purchase and she cant even do that apparently. Shocking service, will not be recommending.
