I’ve recently used Backhouse Solicitors after being dismissed by my employer after over 30 years. I went to them just to get an offer agreement signed that my old firm had offered me. It was Sarina that told me that I had a good case for unfair dismissal and so the process began. Sarina was outstanding from start to finish. She listened to everything I had been through, and our conversations felt like a therapy session as well as legal advice. She was incredibly supportive, compassionate, and always made me feel like she was firmly in my corner. Sarina explained every stage of the process clearly, outlining all the possible options along with the risks and benefits of each approach. Her knowledge and professionalism gave me confidence throughout. After nearly 3 years of going back and forth with the other side (they were proving to be very difficult) we managed to get an out of court settlement over 3 times higher than the original offer. Their persistence and proactive approach helped ensure we were able to meet our deadline, which we really appreciated.
