I was very disappointed with this service. I would never use Fairstep again. Mistakes were made throughout the process. There was no chain either side of the sale and it took 16 long drawn out weeks to complete. Errors were made with the final bill. Thank goodness I used the brilliant Wainwrights estate agents to help move things along. If you are in Felixstowe please use Jackmans. I honestly feel that there should be more training for Hannah. I think she was out of her depth with this leasehold sale.

I dealt with Charlene during my staircasing process with my shared ownership property. She was always quick to reply to any requests or emails and always very pleasant to deal with. She went the extra mile and helped push things through quicker which was a bonus, which helped save me some money. I will definitely recommend Fairstep to anyone I know when it comes to staircasing or shared ownership!

Absolute circus from beginning to end for my conveyancing. Initially they got all my paperwork wrong by spelling my name wrong which created delays. I had to continually phone them to chase them up and they never got back to me. At one point they hadn’t done anything for two weeks as they said they were asking for a payment that they never sent an invoice for. Then there was the absolute joke of submitting money sources. There were delays, repeated requests for things I had already submitted. They would never be available if I called them. Gemma never gave me any advice help or guidance throughout the whole process. Then the kicker was a WEEK before I was supposed to complete she emails me on the Friday and says some of my funds weren’t eligible as they were gifted. Despite the fact they had known this for the last six weeks. All she said in the email was ‘how do you want to proceed?’ At end of business on the Friday. No advice what could be done or how to get round the problem. This continued into the next week where she finally answered my countless emails stressed to the hilt and asked for all my bank statements again with no exchange date 4 workings days to completion. So basically in a nutshell they lost me my house purchase due to their incompetence and lack of professionalism. Absolutely gutted and enraged. A formal complaint will go in to the ombudsman after I sort the mess out and find another home.

I had a very positive experience with the team throughout my first house purchase journey. I worked with them on two separate matters, and on both occasions they were professional, supportive, and helpful. The first purchase unfortunately did not proceed due to an issue with the documents, but they provided excellent advice and guidance throughout the process, which I truly appreciated. Because of that experience, I chose to work with them again for my second house purchase, and the process went smoothly overall. Towards the end, things became a little slower than I expected, and I had to follow up on some steps many times. However, I understand that the final stages of a property purchase can sometimes be like this. Overall, I am very happy with their service and support. They were reliable, professional, and helped make the process much easier. I would happily recommend them and give them full stars.

Although I ultimately had to withdraw from the property purchase, I was consistently impressed by the fast and efficient service provided by Gemma and Charlotte at Fairstep. They were always prompt in responding to emails and kept me well informed throughout. I cannot speak highly enough of their professionalism and the way they handled the entire process.

Absolutely brilliant experience with the sale and purchase of my properties. The whole conveyancing team where brilliant, however I have to pick out Charlotte individually as she is an asset to the team. She replies to your enquiries so quickly and is always keeping you up to date. Wouldn't think twice to use them again 😊 Thank you
