A subsequent partnership with Mark Fairweather from Leiston gave rise to the firm of Fairweather Stephenson & Co which the current Managing Director, Patrick Cooney, joined in 1995. The practice has operated from its premises in Hamilton Road, Felixstowe for many years and continues to increase its client base under the new name of Fairstep Solicitors. We undertake many different areas of legal work, which can be found on our services page, together with particulars of our hardworking team. I approached Fairstep to renew my will and arrange for LPAs. I was introduced to Chloe, excited because I'd never met a Chloe before. She ran through a list of questions, I reminisced and she kindly laughed appropriately. Once the will and LPAs were complete I was sent copies to peruse, very happy with how they had been drawn up, arranged to sign, another pleasant time in her company. She was very good at explaining all that I needed to know. I have been writing and changing my will since I was 18, 50 years ago, something that should never be put off, and perhaps should be made compulsory in education!

Very good Charley was excellent and was on top of things all the way even though others in the chain were not at all helpful. One solicitor in particular created many problems by inattention to basics

Used for conveyancing having been recommended by estate agent. Very quick to act at the beginning of the process, good email communication. Once near to exchange & completion very efficient in sending electronic documents to be signed and good communication on exchange & completion day. Only one negative in that I emailed a question which didn’t relate directly to the sale of the property which I did have to chase a couple of times.
