⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I instructed Andy to help put proper governance arrangements in place for a long-established family land-holding company. The work involved preparing a Shareholders' Agreement and advising on a number of complex issues around share transfers, succession, minority protection and company governance. Throughout the process, Andy was knowledgeable, responsive and patient in answering what was, at times, a long list of questions. He took the time to explain the legal principles behind the drafting, challenged historic practices where necessary, and helped us reach a practical solution that protects both the company and its shareholders. I particularly appreciated that he welcomed questions and provided clear explanations, enabling us to make informed decisions rather than simply accepting legal wording at face value. Rebecca managed my interests in a share sale / restructuring transaction to facilitate my partial exit from a limited company. This was a fairly complex transaction involving setting up a new holding company, the transfer of shares, the sale of shares and new service agreements for the directors. To be honest I wasn't looking forward to working through the legal process to make this transaction happen but Rebecca (and the team at Forbes) made it seem easy. I have been in the property business for over 30 years, and I have used various solicitor firms from London to Edinburgh. However I have never come across such professional, helpful, and efficient solicitors such as Anna and Elinor. They provided me with a wonderful service and were caring towards my needs. They re-wrote the articles of my company and went over and beyond to sort my issues out. They also did a PG certificate. These 2 ladies are the jewel in the crown of your firm and I would highly recommend them to my friends and family. If I was looking at employing solicitors myself, I wouldn't hesitate in giving these 2 ladies a job.

James and his team were very good and got my flat purchase done pretty quickly, only complaint really is as some of my deposit was a gift they wanted the gifters life story as well as a fee to process this, despite this already all being approved by my mortage provider. Other than this they were very good and responded to most queries I had within an hour or so and much better than other solicitors than my friends had used.
