Dear Julie, I was made redundant in July and was advised by my company to speak with a solicitor about my redundancy settlement. Not only was I upset and worried about the situation, but also very scared and nervous about contacting a solicitor as this was all new to me. I contacted Kingsfords and spoke firstly to Jacqueline Chappell, who was very helpful and gave clear instructions on what I needed to send to her. When I first read through my settlement agreement I didn't really understand what it all meant and so when Leigh took the time to read through it line by line to explain things in simpler terms, it wasn't so overwhelming.
