This work covers claims arising from negligent quantity surveying on construction or refurbishment projects, where costs, bills of quantities, valuations or cost plans were prepared or checked in error. “After having a lifetime in construction I had a very awkward client who took it upon herself to complain 18 months after the work was completed. There was nothing to complain about and an independent surveyor was appointed by the solicitor who found completely in my favour.”

“I was previously paying a local solicitor for a personal injury claim - this claim was receiving minimum responses - I was accruing more expenses all the time - the company I was claiming against were extremely uncooperative - so I discontinued this claim - losing thousands of pounds. I engaged Hewitts Solicitors on a "No Win No Fee Basis" They believed I had a strong claim - and took on my case. At all times I was fully informed of what the different stages & outcomes could be. I found the company to be both extremely friendly & professional. The case was won - the company settled out of court - after three years - I was very pleased by the outcome.”
