Possibly one of the worst customer experiences in my life. If you're thinking of buying or selling residential property with them, stay 10 miles clear. summary: 4-5 Months delay before completing on a house, always get spoken to like rubbish, having to do THEIR job for them to get things done and this is all down to one individual - their head of residential property I'd first like to say we have used the company before following a recommendation from our mortgage broker. We had a fantastic experience at first time around. They have since employed a number of clueless and rude individuals, namely - Manisha - head of residential property. She'll never update you on any progress of your house sale or purchase. You will have to email her mulitple times or leave over ten messages with her receptionist. You will be promised to get a call back when she's available and then let down over and over. When you finally do get to speak to her, you're presented with a rude vile woman who does everything her way and not yours, the customers way. On multiple occasions she has made constant mistakes or forgot to provide relevant information to the other solictors or the estate agent. She blames everyone else but herself whilst has everyone involved complaining about her. We've ended up being that sick of waiting and contacted the bank ourselves to get the relevant documentation she's unable to get, an item we've waited on for over a week, we done it with a 2 minute phone call to the lender. Another example is she forgot to check another important document on the supposed completion day so we could not complete on that date due to yet again her incompetence. We had already sent this document but once again we had to do it all over again which meant me driving back to office one hour away to get it signed and hand delivered back to MLP. They are an absolute farce. I could write ten pages and bore you to death with the inns and outs of this woman and MLP. Every day and week there is always a prolem or an issue which typically involved Manisha messing something up - she became the joke between ourselves, the opposite solicitors and estate agents. She's an embarassment to MLP Law and have ruined their reputation. You can take this review as a one off or we just got unlucky this time, but I promise you and writing this out to warn anyone of thinking of using them, you will have a totally miserable time. They have cost me so much money in mortgage payments, time and effort. To top it off, once the completion happens they take their fee's and theres nothing you can about it before receiving monies from the mortgage. There's no superior above Manisha according to her, she must own all of MLP (she doesn't). The most frustrating, miserable customer experience of my life.
