I am extremely impressed with the exceptional service and professionalism demonstrated by peter lyn & partners solicitors throughout the entire process.
I do not write reviews often but thank you Amy Matthews for the assistance that you gave me and my husband. Your advice was clear, and you were patient and helpful throughout. We are able to rest easy knowing that we have our affairs in order and will be sure to return should we need to review. Thank you sorting our life affairs in such a quick and friendly manner. Your advice at every step was really good and prompted us to consider matters deeper than we had initially thought of. There was no hesitation from you about presenting a worst case scenario and even though we were discussing some unpleasant issues, I felt a strong level of support at all times and you made it as light as you possibly could. Our understanding of things was very outdated which you graciously provided us with a revised explanation on and made us feel very comfortable, even if we were bumbling on about things relevant over 35 years ago! My only criticism is that I noticed the office could use a bit of TLC, and I think a cleaner space would benefit first impressions. I will say however that this does not reflect the impression that this young lady puts out there. I am glad that we stayed with you and will be using the firm for any future needs.

Amy the solicitor and Jan secretary are excellent I will be using their services again and have given Amy’s name to mates to sort out their affairs Jan is very helpful . Amy is very kind and explained my options clearly even when she needed to repeat herself she did not lose her smile which goes a long way to my trust in her . a very good and bright young girl Everything is sorted now with my concerns and I have piece of mind Highly recommend

I had the worst experience with this solicitor called Saskia Taylor and her assistant Amanda Dzwairo. They wasted my time and money. They make so many mistakes and in the end they will close your case and tell you, you will need to find other solicitors. I would not recommend these two people to anyone or this law firm. Find yourself another solicitor at all cost. Horrible experience

Clearly don't want the work, no communication, say they will contact you and then don't, repeatedly. Time to take business elsewhere. I feel a fool for giving them the benefit of doubt the first few times
Our solicitor Richard Thomas, managed our expectations and explained in pragmatic terms each step during the sale of our property. Any queries we had were answered promptly. My experience was so unprofessional. Simple queries often took several weeks for a reply. When I complained to the senior partner, Peter Lynn, he was dismissive and unprofessional, calling my concerns "factually incorrect" and "v unlikely" (couldn't even be bothered to type out words in full and even misspelled his own staff's names). On the day of completion, I was pressured to sign a disclaimer, against legal advice, due to an issue with a transfer deed - which two days before I'd been told "wasn't an issue". To add insult to it, my solicitor was on leave on the day of completion without informing me. The firm's only response was that solicitors don't need to inform clients of their leave... even when it's completion day and there are issues. Finally, the firm failed to respond to my Subject Access Request within the one-month legal deadline. When they did, they committed a serious data breach by sending me the passports of four other people. This was investigated by the ICO, who found the firm "has not complied with their data protection obligations". The firm was instructed by the ICO to contact everyone who's data they had breached - knowing some of them personally, I know that they didn't bother. Oh, and they charged me incorrectly - as confirmed by Countrywide and the Ombudsman - but all parties refused to correct it. Avoid at all costs.
