Court Appearance

Chris Andrews represented my daughter at Magistrates Court for a motoring offence. I must say I was very impressed with the service he provided and the outcome he managed to achieve for my daughter. Also very importantly he put my daughter at ease and I would happily recommend him and would use his services again.

Exceptional hardship case following totting up of penalty points

I contacted Chris Andrews at Coodes following a totting up of penalty points due to speeding. I was aware that I would be facing a 6 month ban due to having reached the 12 penalty point limit. Mr Andrews clearly explained the options to me stating that I may be in a position to present an 'exceptional hardship' case. He agreed to help and attend court with me. In the meantime he asked me to forward him any relevant info and begin collecting some character references. It took a full year before the court date came around but Mr Andrews was happy to keep in touch and responded promptly with advise whenever I contacted him with queries throughout the year. On the day of the hearing Mr Andrews met with me one hour before the scheduled hearing time to discuss matters in detail. Mr Andrews was professional but also relaxed, friendly, personable & easy going. He was also able to put me at ease prior to the hearing. During the hearing he took the lead and was fully comprehensive with his presentation to the bench meaning that no questions needed to be directed at myself. Mr Andrews presented an honest argument but was able to think 'outside the box' during the hearing, concentrating on the most relevant items to this particular case. This resulted in the best possible outcome. As mentioned following the hearing, I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend Mr Andrews at Coodes to anybody needing assistance of this sort.

I feel very grateful to Chris Andrews for dealing with my case from start to finish.
I was very pleased with his style of clear communication, professional manner and level of support offered. The outcome was positive and I feel like the success achieved was down to the efforts and hard work Chris put in to my case.

Chris Andrews solicitor for Coodes

Mr. Andrews represented me recently in relation to a driving offence. Mr. Andrews kept me informed and up to date at all times and was very thorough in preparing my case. He wS reassuring, compassionate and very professional both in the run up to my hearing and during the hearing itself and if I should ever require a solicitor for anything in the future, Coodes would be my first port of call.

Teresa and her team were my conveyancers to sell my house and buy my new house, it was a very long process as it was partly through COVID and I took out a lifetime morgage. dispite some quiet spells of not knowing what was happening and not getting some communication that was expected at times when I'd heard nothing for a while. I understood it was a difficult time but overall I was very pleased with the service
very lovely to deal with if u needed to speak to them over the phone instead of email as I sometimes did as I was very stressed they were always helpful and reassuring to me. Teresa was a great solicitor and I want to say thanku To her and the rest of the team. I would definitely use again.
Thanku jane haley

I can highly recommend working with Coodes. Sarah Evans has both represented and supported me throughout my case. Finding Coodes after a previous bad experience with a solicitor was a godsend at a really difficult time in my life. Having a solicitor I could trust made the whole experience far easier. Professional and approachable.

I am writing to express my experience with Coodes concerning the service I received in October 2020 during the purchase of my first home.

Regrettably, the service offered by Coodes was subpar. Despite promptly settling the final bill upon conclusion, I was recently surprised to receive communication in April 2024 requesting an additional £215 due to an administrative error that occurred more than 40 months after our business was completed.

Though the sum may appear insignificant, I was startled by this unanticipated demand. I chose not to escalate the issue as I perceived no advantage in pursuing it further.

I felt compelled to relay my encounter as a word of caution to others who may contemplate engaging with Coodes in the future.

Thank you for your attention.

Yours sincerely,
Rui

Laura and Emma were fantastic throughout. I've dealt with multiple solicitors in the past, their attention to detail and pro active approach was a breath of fresh air. My friend also had the same experience and I'm so pleased I took their recommendation.
