Very disappointing experience. This was a family court matter where I received very limited advice, followed by unexpected charges for duplicated work that I had neither requested nor authorised. When I raised concerns, there was no willingness to listen or engage, only a blunt instruction to complain in writing. At an already highly stressful time, this lack of care and transparency made things significantly worse. I ultimately paid the balance simply to move on. I have since instructed another firm who have provided proper, comprehensive support across all aspects of the case, which has only highlighted how poor this service was. I would urge potential clients to be extremely cautious about costs and expectations.

I can’t recommend Liam Flanagan highly enough. He has been professional, knowledgeable and supportive throughout my divorce proceedings, always taking the time to explain everything clearly and respond to any questions I had. Extremely knowledgeable, everyone at Taylor and Emmett goes above and beyond to help. Julie Munday (family law) is absolutely fantastic, her experience in family law makes her the best lawyer you could hope for to represent you. She made sure I understood the family court process, what each outcome could be, helped me to understand all the documents and made sure I had statements that covered everything that I needed to benefit my side of the case. Her advice was always straightforward and informative and also compassionate (a lot of court professionals lack this skill, but family court can be very emotional and it helps to have someone on your side who is not only knowledgeable and experienced but also understanding of the emotional impact these cases can have on parents and family). I would highly recommend Taylor and Emmett and Julie Munday.

We first used the conveyancing department of Taylor Emmet over 20 years ago when buying our property, and were then introduced to Chaanah Patton for making our wills. Ten years later she advised us in matters relating to trusts and powers of Attorney, and most recently for the updating of our Lasting Powers of Attorney.
