We first used the conveyancing department of Taylor Emmet over 20 years ago when buying our property, and were then introduced to Chaanah Patton for making our wills. Ten years later she advised us in matters relating to trusts and powers of Attorney, and most recently for the updating of our Lasting Powers of Attorney. Used this firm to deal with the settling and disbursement of a relatives estate. They acted in an extremely professional manner, settled the estate within the estimated time frame and costs were as stated at start of process and were very reasonable. Would not hesitate to use them again.

I had an outstanding experience with Taylor Emmet, and in particular with Amanda Thornton, who handled the conveyancing for the sale of my late father's house in England. As I live in Germany, the entire process had to be managed remotely. Amanda and the conveyancing team made this so much easier than I expected. She was consistently helpful, focused on finding solutions, and unfailingly polite, even when the process threw up the occasional complication along the way. What impressed me most was how quickly and thoroughly every question was answered. Used for the purchase of our new house which is now fully complete. We felt the solicitors assigned to our case were unprofessional and we constantly had to chase up items as well as highlighting items that we thought would be up to the solicitors to flag. We raised our frustrations multiple times and this seemed to be the only time we got anywhere. The only saving grace was at completion when the original solicitor was on leave so Ellena Brown was assigned to finish up for us on completion which was the only time we felt that our case was handled properly.
