Kornelia and Victoria were very helpful during the sale of my late mother's property. It was not a straightforward sale as we had never lived in the property and didn't have knowledge about some of the more complicated aspects. Kornelia and Victoria were able to guide us through the process, and obtain all the documentation required for the sale to proceed. I am very pleased with the help and advice that they gave.

I could always get through to Molly or Deana, who were assigned to us, which made everything much less stressful. I had done a lot of research beforehand to find a firm that would be easy to work with, and they completely lived up to my expectations. I was also very impressed by Carly Jeffery, the solicitor who visited my mum in her nursing home to set up the specific Power of Attorney. She was kind, gentle, and patient with mum. When I initially bought the house 7 years ago I went with bright solictors and they was amazing. I needed to do a transfer of equity for a divorce which included tight deadlines so did not hesitate to contact them. Deana and Molly handled my case and I can’t thank them enough for getting everything done in time and being on top of things at all times. They’ve made a very stressful 2 years a lot easier and was very good at communicating and being two steps ahead.

My experience with Bright Solicitors has been exceptional, I engaged there services to handle both the selling of my old property and purchase of the new property, I had the pleasure of Deana and Molly and later in the process Tabitha, ALL were fantastic and patient, Communication was always fast and any queries were dealt with in a timely manner, I would like to thank Deana, Molly & Tabitha for making this process relatively stress free and the issues that were experienced were not the fault of our part of the chain but they kept me up to date on these issues, I would recommend anyone to use Bright Solicitors for there conveyancing needs.
Whilst my purchase didn’t go ahead, I felt Bright Solicitors (specifically Phil) represented my interests well and were great at progressing all aspects of the new build purchase in an efficient manner. I would particularly like to thank them for navigating (what I can only assume was) a complex process of coming out of the contract after exchange due to build delays.

Absolutely outstanding. No other solicitors come close. We have just completed a complicated, stressful and at times absolutely exhausting house sale and purchase, and throughout the entire process, Jemma N, Chloe A and Julie M have been absolutely exceptional. From the very beginning, they have been professional, knowledgeable, incredibly responsive and most importantly, human. They explained everything to us in detail at every step, took what was probably hundreds of phone calls from me (sorry!), and their responsiveness and turnaround time genuinely cannot be beaten. We encountered multiple issues throughout the process (none caused by Bright), including delays, unexpected legal complications, Land Registry matters, additional statements and a complicated chain. There were so many moments where it felt like everything could potentially fall apart, but they were always on top of things. They chased and chased other solicitors in the chain, were incredibly proactive and worked tirelessly to keep everything moving. What really stood out to us was how much they cared. They didn't just deal with the legal side of things; they took the time to explain what was happening, why, what our options were and what the implications were. When I was worried, they reassured me. When something was complicated, they made it understandable. When something needed chasing, they chased it. They were also incredibly honest and realistic with us. They never made promises just to make us feel better, and we always felt that they were giving us genuinely sensible advice and fighting our corner. Most importantly, they understood how much this move meant to our family and the pressure we were under with timings and logistics. We never once felt like we were just another transaction. I have dealt with solicitors before, and I can honestly say that the level of care, communication, professionalism and commitment we have experienced from Jemma, Chloe and Julie has been completely different. I would recommend Bright without hesitation. Thank you so, so much for everything. We genuinely couldn't have asked for a better team to get us over the finish line. ❤️

Our experience with Brights Solicitors involved both the successful sale of our existing home and what became a much more complicated purchase of a property in Plymouth. The sale was handled brilliantly. The team kept everything progressing, communication was good throughout and they helped us successfully get the sale through to completion. We were extremely happy with the service we received. Unfortunately, our onward purchase was a very different story. We spent around five months progressing the purchase before a number of issues with the property eventually meant that we had to walk away. While this was obviously hugely disappointing, it certainly wasn't a reflection on the service we received from Brights. In fact, quite the opposite. Throughout what became a complicated and frustrating purchase, we always felt that Brights were looking after our interests. When concerns arose they were investigated rather than ignored, questions were asked and we were given the information we needed to understand the potential implications. Sometimes the value of a good conveyancing solicitor isn't simply demonstrated by getting you to completion. It's also demonstrated by making sure you understand when there are genuine reasons to question whether completing is the right thing to do. Brights successfully handled the sale of our home while also supporting us through an extremely challenging onward purchase. When that purchase eventually fell through, they were professional and supportive at what was a very stressful point in our house-moving journey. Thankfully, everything ultimately worked out for us and we are now happily settled in our new home. A huge thank you to the team at Brights for all of your help, professionalism and support. Despite one transaction not reaching completion, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend you.
