I would have no hesitation in recommending the services of Emily Brailsford and Rhianna Rhodes at CWC to anyone looking to undertake a home move. We received a very reasonably priced, itemised quotation for both our sale and purchase shortly after enquiry, with no hidden items or unexpected costs. Government fees (Stamp duty etc.) were clearly calculated and separated from the firm's costs, and we felt we would receive a professional and efficient service for our move - this was happily proved to be the case during the conveyancing period. Where Emily and Rhianna stood out particularly above other solicitors we have used in the past is in their persistence and communication. We felt informed at every juncture of the process, and there was no moment where we ever felt the need to "chase" - we were always comprehensively updated before we'd ever even started to wonder if an essential action might have been completed. As a client, it's nice to feel that your solicitors are always one step ahead of you. Additionally, regarding queries and search outcomes, it was clear that Emily and Rhianna had the whole process in mind when requesting information from other parties, and indeed knew exactly what we'd be likely to ask when answers and results were returned from searches and the representatives of the sellers / buyers. Having such a professional liaison advocating on our behalf with the other parties and the lender prevented the more complex aspects of the transaction from being overly stressful, and instead we simply felt looked after throughout. A great client experience, and we thank Emily and Rhianna for helping us move into our new family home.

Whilst our chain was short, owing to the age of the property we were purchasing, there were some weird and wonderful covenants discovered in the legal pack. Laura did a great job of explaining what they meant, which were still relevant, and which could potentially be removed. Laura or one of her colleagues was always at the end of the phone if I had any questions, and kept me up to date. Thanks for your hard work!

Chloe and Sophie made the conveyancing process of our house purchase seamless, going above and beyond in their service and fully keeping us up to date on progress every step of the way. Their efficiency and professionalism is a credit to CWC Solicitors and I cannot recommend their service highly enough, despite being cheaper than others who were approached for a quote. I would not hesitate to use them in the future and, having used various solicitors in the past, these were without doubt the best: 10/10.

CWC Solicitors managed the sale of a flat in Newton Ferrers in a very professional manner. The transaction was complicated by being leasehold but it all went smoothly with no hold-ups. Karen also helped sort out some problems for me with figures required by HMRC. They had previously managed the purchase of the flat 25 years before and found some documents required from that transaction.

Didn't have a great experience with conveyancing (Just buying). Mainly down to poor comms, required constant chasing, by myself, the vendors solicitor and the Estate Agent - which must itself increase the work load for themselves and stress for all parties. I appreciate this is a busy time, but things were stalling for no aparrant reason (I had taken the file on from a previous buyer, on the property which fell through on week of exchange, so everything should have been in place, apart from mortgage draw down, name changes and fraud checks). Its' not like the service was any cheaper than other local firms. Only responded to two emails of multiple that was sent, although it was appreciated they communicated they recieved the deposit. Spelt my name incorrectly on the contract despite me picking this up on the draft. Asked me when I would like to complete, I said Friday (7 days time), was then notified on the following Wednesday there would not be enough time for drawdown - clearly not, but had it been actioned even on the following Monday or Tuesday, mortgage funds would have been available. I have opted for another local firm, to sell a property subsequently, and so far communications have been night and day better. I hope my experience was a one off.

Nothing but amazing service every time. I have recommended to many. Had numerous property transactions completed by the team including Chloe, who has taken on a few of mine and still continues to do so. Her service is always excellent. Tony provided Legal Advice last minute, outside of working hours to ensure a transaction made the deadline. I have also dealt with Karen and Claire in the past who have also carried out property purchases for me. Lauren is always on hand to provide answers to questions and keep us up to date. Highly recommend .
