      I had a great conveyancing experience with Megan Lambert at PCS Legal's Basildon Office for my new build property purchase. She was so efficient and clear in her communications, keeping me updated at each stage and making sure everything was explained in a way that was easy to understand. In fact, due to her hard work we managed to complete within 6 weeks of reservation, which was exceptional. I felt very well looked after during the process, and any questions and enquiries I put forward were answered comprehensively and quickly, within the same day. As a first time buyer, this was very reassuring during what can be quite a nerve-wracking process. I would highly recommend PCS Legal to anyone looking for a competent and efficient conveyancer. Thank you to Megan Lambert for getting my property transaction over the line so smoothly and efficiently.

      We used PCS legal for the sale of our house. We had to chase them to get anything done. The real estate would contact us to say the buyers solicitors had raised queries, and we had to ask PCS to send us those queries. We had to chase on completion date too. After completion, we contacted the bank to confirm the mortgage had been paid and when the account would be closed. The money hadn't been received by the bank. PCS claimed that the bank had rejected the payment, but I asked for proof of transfer and they ignored my request. PCS ended up having to get a new redemption statement. As a result we paid more interest and another mortgage payment came out after completion date. Fortunately PCS refunded us the extra costs. PCS were a lot cheaper than other solicitors. You get what you pay for. Note that I made the initial contact via Millenium legal. I'm not sure how PCS and Millenium legal are related. It was confusing because my first payment of a deposit for the conveyancing fees was to Millennium then the remainder to PCS. Also, when I went to pay the final fees with PCS they said that they had quoted us wrong and actually increased the price. Apparently forgot to put VAT on the price.

      Poor customer service, slow at replying and getting answers. Multiple times we got told “someone will call you back” and yet everytime we have to chase them. Even our estate agents have had to send them emails wondering what they’re playing around at. Avoid at all costs. Not worth a single penny.
