VERY SLOW AND COMMUNICATION TERRIBLE
I used the firm for a very straightforward flat purchase. The firm rarely returned calls, ignored emails and was so slow I ended up cancelling the purchase.

From the start I should have known something was wrong. But I waited too long in hopes that everything had been done behind the scenes. I was dealing with a trainee who said that they were doing things and checking documents but nearly a month on and they hadn't corrected an issue. They hadn't contacted the developer's solicitor for the document/s they required to correct this issue. They hadn't looked at at my documents properly to process them until after house searches came back, which took 3 weeks. Now I'm delayed moving into my property by possibly up to two weeks because they hadn't done any checks during the time the searches were happening.
Communication is poor and infrequent. They want to charge me for contacting them via email, even though they are not being transparent about what stage they are at. They are unapologetic for their delays.
Horrible service and too expensive for no work done.

Appalling service with my business dealings being passed from one person to another, all based in different offices! and mostly "trainee solicitiors" - most unhelpful - charged me to provide a report on my lease which when received was full of legal jargon (think it was a paste of copy job) so I could have just dealt with reading the lease myself and saving £834.00!!!, then charged me an extortionate fee to register the lease with land registry which didn't happen (due to an existing expired lease already being assigned to the property which they told me that I had to get sorted personally as it wasn't part of their agreed work to do for me!!!) this took them over a year to let me know and the extended deadline from Land Registry (due to Covid) has now expired so I now have to start the process all over again - but NOT with them but at an extra cost to me. They still hold £150.00 of my money which I am trying to get back. I would never recommend this firm to anyone.

Disappointing experience from Kew Law in Colchester, would not recommend. I wasn't kept up-to-date on my case and it was almost near impossible to communicate with the solicitor dealing with my case. At some points, I wasn't even informed that someone else was taking on my case, which caused me to become confused quite easily on what was going on and what had been or had yet to be completed, and as a first-time buyer, that is very frustrating. A total of 4 solicitors dealt with my case, and all of them were just incapable in terms of communicating with me as their client.

I have just brought my first house with the help of Kew Law and I wanted to share how great I thought they were. Thomas was efficient, professional and helpful. He seemed to really care about the work he does and the clients he is representing. I will be using again in the future if I ever need to. Would highly recommend.

The worst experience I have ever had with a lawyer. Victoria Bush never returns calls nor reples to an email. When a contract is urgent she goes home early (and the office is closed for lunch). Inspite of holding clnt monies in their account they denied having the money. This is a firm which has no desire to help their clients. Complaints are ignored. Having made a formal complaint, I am still awaiting a response.

Kew Law dealt with my divorce. I only wanted them to sort out one thing, which was a pension sharing agreement. They did not do this, and a year later I am still left chasing. When life is difficult you don't really don't need Kew Law helping you through.

My daughter and partner recently used this Company for the purchase of their first house. Their experience was utterly awful. Constant failure to respond to their emails and calls, errors made even up to the actual completion day itself - avoid using Kew Law.
