Fantastic solicitors, highly recommended

Thank you so much for helping me with a court case I was dealing with. I obviously very happy it got thrown out, due to your hard work. You explained everything to me really well and made it a less intimidating experience. Thanks Dermot, you're a gentleman but a pit bull in court. Really can't thank you enough for all your hard work.

Outstanding Service: Prompt, Diligent, and Beyond Expectations!

Following a potential prosecution for using an out-of-date railcard, I reached out to Reeds Solicitors and was assisted by Nathan Seymour-Hyde. Nathan handled my situation promptly and with great care. He was incredibly patient, considerate, and took the time to understand the significance of securing an out-of-court settlement for me, as well as the broader implications a prosecution could have. He took all the necessary and required steps to ensure the outcome was favorable for me, going above and beyond to keep me informed and updated—even outside of office hours—to ensure I had enough time to prepare the required documentation. I can't thank him and the team at Reeds enough for their hard work and incredibly quick response.

Fare Evasion Settlement

I recently had a fare evasion case from southeastern. I immediately contacted Reeds and was put in touch with Nathan who helped with everything. Nathan spoke me through the whole process and shared his expertise on how to deal with it. My situation would have probably would have been a serious case of fare evasion, but Nathan was clear with how we would deal with it and took my case forward on my behalf, and managed to secure an out of court settlement for me. It is safe to say I have learnt my lesson on my end, but also if anyone is going through a similar situation, don’t panic and talk to Nathan, he is professional and extremely understanding, I could not recommend him highly enough.

TFL Single Justice Procedure Notice (SJP)

After I made the mistake of following my wife through a barrier on the tube, a revenue protection officer stopped me. Knowing I had made a mistake, I thought I would get a fixed penalty notice.
That's not how TFL operate. They can only take you to court!! With the prospect of a fine, court costs, and a criminal record, I started to search for ways to respond. Rail forums pointed me in the direction of getting legal advice. I found Reeds and the initial contact with one of Nathan's Colleagues Brianna, who was super helpful. I then met with Nathan and the initial consultation put my mind at ease.
The communications and help where Nathan helped build a case that my prosecution was not in the public's interest.
So I relived that I received a caution and nothing more.
If you get an SJP from TFL, I would 100% contact Nathan / Reeds immediately and don't attempt a response to TFL yourself. They can advise whether your case in not in the public interest to proceed

TFL fare evasion

After receiving a court summons for travelling incorrectly with a 60+ Oyster my heart fell and I was panicked at the thought of a court hearing, criminal conviction and the possible implications on my career. After googling my options, several searches led me to Reeds solicitors and in particular Nathan.
After an initial video call which was promptly set up and a conversation discussing my options, Nathan informed me of my possible chances of success. I decided to proceed with appealing and with Nathan’s help we drafted representation to the court. I have just heard today that thankfully the matter will be resolved out of court. This could not have been done without Nathan and I strongly recommend him to anyone in this position. For weeks I have been stressed but he helped to calm my nerves and I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. Fantastically professional and helpful.

Stuart representation - disciplinary case

Stuart was tremendous support to me during a very difficult time. Stuart went to extra lengths to meet deadlines including doing overtime and work whilst on leave. He represented me very professionally whilst also taking the time to understand me and my situation deeply. On top of this and what I am most appreciative of this was his willingness to be there for emotional support and a source of calmness and stability. I am extremely grateful of Stuart in helping me find my voice again and I can not stress enough how important that was. Thank you Stuart!

Rail Fare Evasion

Having been stopped by an Revenue Protection Officer for travelling on an incorrect ticket, a quick search on the internet revealed how serious this could be for me, as the RPO informed me that the Train company would review all my history via the app (which would reveal repeat short fares), and the potential for any prosecution (and criminal record) to have a significant impact on my career.

I reached out to Reeds via their contact form having read extensive positive reviews across multiple forums and dealt with Nathan. Firstly, I was contacted by Nathan's caseworker who helped to set up the initial consultation and was very reassuring and fluent communicator.

Nathan is highly experienced in this field and will advise the best course of action to take. Having supplied all the information after my consultation, I felt very reassured I was in good hands with Nathan leading on my case.

Nathan set to work engaging proactively with the Train company prior to me receiving any letters from them. After around 3 weeks, Nathan had managed to secure an out of court settlement helping to bring this matter to a close.

I would highly recommend engaging with Reeds if you are facing a similar situation.
