My life was a never ending nightmare for almost 6 years. I was falsely accused of the most serious crime as a man. it took 6 years for a jury to hear the evidence and for me to give my account. The jury returned unanimous not guilty verdicts in a very short period of time. My mental health deteriorated throughout and there were a number of trials listed but due to lack of court time and the case not being a priority the case kept being adjourned. I struggled with anxiety before all of this but the process made this much worse and I needed support and reassurance regularly. The Court system and process can be so complicated. I was in the safest and best hands with Laurette navigating this. I couldn’t have asked anymore of her. My case was so well prepared and so was I as a result of her dedication and hard work. My experience of her throughout was excellent. From the very beginning she was professional, thorough, and extremely supportive of me and my family. Her preparation and attention to detail gave me real confidence throughout the process. I completely trusted her and her advice. I’m very grateful to her for all her hard work over such a long period of time and would highly recommend her services. I would not have wanted anyone else fighting my corner. I was wrongly accused of multiple offences and unfortunately put on remand for 8 weeks due to these offences. Bal was there with me every step of the way, whether that was on the phone, prison visits, supporting my family and especially on my court date. His kindness and professionalism is unmatched and after an hour and a half of my trial he got the whole case dropped and I was released the same day. He knows the courts of law like the back of his hand and I would absolutely reccomend him to anyone in any position with the law. As I say he was more than just a lawyer, he was on hand to support my family with any questions they had whilst I was on remand and was even more supportive at court. We will never forget what he did for me and my family and we will always owe a lot to him. Bal Singh - what a guy! You know what you did for us and we will be forever grateful. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!!

Bal Singh

My partner & I were invited to attend an interview under caution for an alleged (unfounded) incident. It was my first time in my entire life in a police station. We were both extremely distressed and emotional, with no clue as to what might happen to us. Bal was brilliant, put us at ease, calmed us down & clearly explained the situation. The interview resulted in no further action, which was a huge relief. Without Bal, we would have struggled to put our side across due to the emotional and stressful situation. I cannot thank Bal enough for his help, and I would not hesitate to recommend ZMS Legal to anyone. Special mention for Umi, who was my first point of contact.
