I received excellent service from Danielle A and Danielle G who acted on my behalf with the purchase of a flat that should have been straightforward but due to complications with the sellers proved to be anything but. I particularly valued their excellent communication over the last couple of weeks in keeping me updated as completion neared and their earlier persistence in acting on my behalf in getting the correct information re the purchase.
This is the third time I have used Taylor and Emmet for my house conveyancing and overall I was equally happy with this experience. I did have some early frustration with trying to find the right person to answer a query I had. While I understand the increased efficiency of completing forms online, I had to try several different times to find someone who could answer my question about whether I could proceed even though the vendor had not obtained probate in order to sell the property. However, after that the work was completed smoothly and efficiently and I was kept informed during the exchange and completion phase of the transaction.

Myself and my partner each had a house to sell. We were buying our first home together. We felt nobody really got a grip on our situation and we had to deal with various people to chase things up. Towards the conclusion of the deals, it was a conveyoncer, Tom, who actually worked hard to support us. My buyer pulled out 5 days before completion. They had set a deadline but nobody informed us of this. Dreadful.
I cannot recommend Julie Lomas enough. She was responsive, diligent and helped push through a complex sale in the most professional and thoughtful way. If you are looking for a conveyancing solicitor then I highly recommend Julie, we would have been lost without her.

Amanda and team at Taylor Emmet have been amazing. They have sorted out the sale of a property that wasn’t straight forward due to probate issues, land registry and more. Their constant communication has been outstanding and in a world where online options are available I needed a local office with the consistency and professionalism . We first used the conveyancing department of Taylor Emmet over 20 years ago when buying our property, and were then introduced to Chaanah Patton for making our wills.
