    We first used the conveyancing department of Taylor Emmet over 20 years ago when buying our property, and were then introduced to Chaanah Patton for making our wills. Ten years later she advised us in matters relating to trusts and powers of Attorney, and most recently for the updating of our Lasting Powers of Attorney. We have always found her friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and utterly professional and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

    I had an outstanding experience with Taylor Emmet, and in particular with Amanda Thornton, who handled the conveyancing for the sale of my late father's house in England. As I live in Germany, the entire process had to be managed remotely. Amanda and the conveyancing team made this so much easier than I expected. She was consistently helpful, focused on finding solutions, and unfailingly polite, even when the process threw up the occasional complication along the way. What impressed me most was how quickly and thoroughly every question was answered. Whether it was a small procedural detail or a more pressing legal matter, I always received clear, well-explained responses without unnecessary delay. That level of responsiveness made a real difference when coordinating everything across the distance. Selling a family property tied to such a personal loss is never easy, but Amanda and the team at Taylor Emmet handled the legal side with genuine professionalism and care. I felt well informed and supported throughout the entire process. I would wholeheartedly recommend Taylor Emmet, and Amanda Thornton in particular, to anyone looking for a conveyancing solicitor who combines efficiency with a real personal touch.

    Visited the new T&E Bakewell office to have our wills drawn up by the lovely Amy Fowlston who was so patient and understanding. She was so good at explaining every part of the process and very respectful throughout, plus we never felt rushed or pushed. Good parking spaces outside the door and a nice welcome from the lady on reception so we highly recommend.

    My wife and I are in our 90s and needed to make final wills and appoint Powers of Attorney - quite overwhelming tasks at our age involving several visits to our home and much paperwork. This was done by Amy in a friendly but professional way and after many months waiting for the Office of the Public Guardian to approve and register the documents all is now in place. All very much very much appreciated.
