Probably one of the worst solicitors I’ve ever had to engage with. Had to submit evidence 3 times and they still claim I never sent it. When I screen shot it snd gave it to them. They don’t read anything are lazy and totally wasted months of our time. Please do not use they don’t have a clue when it comes to police matters either. Wasted months and they’re clearly corrupt too. As a reply to your ridiculous comment underneath. You continuously asked for a PSD investigation letter that didn’t exist. And I had two reviews from the IOPC upheld. A housing ombudsman review upheld and an IOC complaint upheld as the solicitor refused to give me my file. All relevant but youre too lazy to actually read anything. I can upload the email ive just sent you proving I sent in information you asked for in July. It’s not just me saying youre corrupt to s it. Read the other reviews. 🤣🤣

I got falsely imprisoned and abused by the police and the prison guards and these guys didnt get my custody records or cctv or ANYTHING! STILL TO THIS DAY! its been nearly a year since I contacted them. they send me a message saying the original "shut up about it" offer from the police has been reduced a couple grand. THEY DIDNT EVEN TELL ME THERE WAS AN ORIGINAL OFFER! now they STILL havent done ANYTHING and virtue signalling and wont cooperate and just want their cut of the couple grand the police are offering me. . they aint getting SHIT. pshh for what? being useless and wasting my time and rights

I have been a client of Satchell Moran Solicitors for approximately almost four months following an incident involving the police in early May. Unfortunately, my experience has left me disappointed, particularly in relation to the handling of my case, the level of communication and the costs being incurred. I was represented by an executive litigator, although I had not specifically requested an executive to handle my case. My concern was that the hourly rate associated with this level of fee earner appeared disproportionate to the relatively straightforward nature of my matter and the level of compensation being discussed. At one stage, £1,000 was offered in compensation. I was subsequently informed that approximately £4,000 in legal costs had been incurred. I was told that a reduction would be made to the bill, but my understanding was that I could ultimately receive only around £100 from the compensation. I found this extremely concerning and felt that I needed a clearer explanation of the work undertaken and the costs incurred. I also had concerns about the handling of my medical evidence. My understanding is that my GP surgery sent the relevant information electronically on more than one occasion, and I personally contacted the surgery to ensure that it had the correct contact details for my solicitor. I was therefore disappointed that, several months into the matter, I was still being told that the medical records had not been downloaded or reviewed. I raised five specific points of complaint with the firm. My complaint was subsequently closed because the response did not agree with my concerns. I respect that the firm is entitled to reach its own view, but I did not feel that my concerns had been adequately addressed. I also asked for a copy of my Conditional Fee Agreement because I had misplaced my copy and wanted to understand the basis of the fees being charged. I was initially directed to look through my emails, but I explained that I could not locate the document and needed a copy so that I could properly understand my position. I was also asked not to send excessive emails to my new paralegal. I understand that solicitors have to manage their workload and that communication needs to be reasonable, but I found this difficult because the emails I was sending related to my ongoing case and were generally responses to matters raised with me. I was particularly disappointed by a request that I not respond using AI. I use AI as an accessibility aid to help organise my thoughts and express them clearly as i have a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder that somtimes makes writing coherently about my issues a struggle. I do not use it to invent facts or evidence; it helps me communicate information that I am otherwise capable of providing but can struggle to put into a clear written format. I appreciate that every case is different and that a solicitor may reasonably disagree with a client's assessment of their case. This review is therefore not intended to suggest that the firm deliberately acted improperly or that anyone intended to cause me financial difficulty. It is simply an honest account of my experience and why I have become dissatisfied with the service I received. I have now raised my concerns with the Legal Ombudsman, who is aware of the issues I have raised. I believe clients should feel able to ask questions about their legal costs, evidence and the way their case is being handled, and should be able to raise a complaint where they disagree with their solicitor's position. That is what I have done. I hope my experience can help other prospective clients understand the importance of asking questions about fees, who will be handling their case, and how evidence and costs will be managed.

Disgusting company on the polices side at every stage only intersted in getting x amount with minimum effort, this company would never value my claim from the start, they will then blackmail you on the basis of not proceeding to accept the first amount they say, and will only instruct barristers on an amount they say of close region of, there is no negotiotion, they will reject any legitimate complaint, they might then drop aspects of your case like they did with me, jusy because the police tampered with evidence and did not write things down, such as human rights breaches, in my case sussex police refused to write down that i asked for medical attention. They did not provode any cell footage or intercom recording to prove my version of events, they then bought me a rail ticket to get to the hospital , this is all recorded the interaction in this video proves they had prior knowledge, they will then drop human rights aspects of your case at a late stage, and then keep other easy aspects on a retainer so they still get money, you are literally stuck with them, they will then tell you to find other solicitor to do wjat they nevet did, then they get paid at the end of it anyway. In my case they never sent me for the medical appointments promised in tye original letter, and they also never wrote to my doctors despite taking down their information. On one accasion the receptionist became extreemly abrupt and when i recorded the call she said im not allowed, I will be uploading this to youtube. I was also accused of dishonesty regarding handcuff injuries, despite medical appointments for nerve damage, numbness and x rays and soft tissue damage appointments. None of this was seen by this company. The amount of compensation is supposed to reflect suffering and all damages, none of my medical files were ever looked at. If you use them you will have no choice but to accept the low amount they say, or be left with nothing and possible be threatened with cost. I will be creating a video on youtube that has all their emails and phone recording to show the whole rotten experiance I look forward to your narsarsitic passive aggresive responce. I will not be removing this so dont even ask.
