Established in 2015, Satchell Moran Solicitors was founded by sister and brother, Paula Satchell and Terry Moran. Having gained over 40 years of combined experience in dealing, in the main with personal injury litigation, the duo decided to start a firm that meets with, not only the ever-changing business climate, but more importantly the ever-changing requests for legal assistance from their clients, both existing and new. In the initial stages, it was decided to integrate their business, with the changing legal climate, in tandem with the customers’ needs at the forefront. It was decided to employ legal experts in other areas of law and litigation, thus broadening our ability to assist our customers. This they believe has been achieved by recruiting a highly experienced, motivated team, who perform assiduously, with an acute understanding of managing our customer’s requirements in a diligent way. We have found that the ethos of the firm has been integral in providing our clients with positively extraordinary outcomes in concluding their legal business, which results, in not only a satisfied customer but customer retention. After contradicting his own words on multiple occasions, we were coerced then into making a decision, with threats of large fees if we did not accept his ill given advice. The whole process felt rushed and he did not seem to take into account any information we gave them. The solicitor has even got fees wrong, putting monthly rent rather than weekly meaning their calculations would’ve been roughly 25% that of the expected. After being made aware of this simple data entry error, they refuse to re-calculate anything. And actually went back on previous legally binding agreements we have made. Complaint is being processed and a dispute raised with third-party investigative services.

My experience with Satchell Moran Solicitors has been very positive, in particular with Stephen and Louise. They accepted my disrepair claim again the landlord, were very patient with me explaining the whole process and replying to my questions, and in less than 4 months I got my compensation and the landlord is taking actions to fix the problem after waiting for over 2 years.

Satchell Moran Solicitors have been nothing short of excellent. They guided me through the entire housing disrepair process from start to finish, acted extremely quickly, held my landlord to account, and successfully secured an out-of-court settlement while ensuring the necessary repairs were carried out. A special thank you to Hannah, Megan, Katie, Louise, Gavin, Donna, Georgina, Shannon, Carole, and Doloresz, who were absolutely exceptional throughout the process. Their professionalism, communication, dedication, and support made a difficult and stressful situation much easier to navigate. One thing I would ask people to bear in mind when considering this firm is the level of work involved in these cases. Throughout my entire claim, I did not pay a penny upfront. A barrister was instructed in my case, multiple in-house solicitors worked on the matter, and a property surveyor was also involved. In my situation, the firm initially funded all of these costs. Yes, they take a percentage from any compensation awarded and an After the Event (ATE) insurance premium may apply. However, these cases can be lengthy and complex, and it is important to appreciate the amount of work, expertise, and financial risk the firm undertakes on behalf of its clients. Most importantly, they listened to my concerns, kept me informed, and treated me with consideration and respect throughout what was a very stressful ordeal. I am genuinely grateful for the support I received and would not hesitate to return to Satchell Moran Solicitors should I ever experience further problems with a landlord in the future. I would highly recommend them to anyone pursuing a housing disrepair claim.

Didnt like how the customer service women spoke to me on the phone so I told her not to contact me back then she co tinted sending me emails. This firm needs to re train how to be courteous and polite to potential clients! Do not recommend!
