My Wife and I recently instructed Hansells in respect of a rental house purchase. Gemma Murrell appointed our dedicated solicitor. The vendor and ourselves both wanting completion before the Christmas. Breckland Council did not help with their ridiculous length of time returning relevant search enquiries. Time was ticking away, we were in Tenerife so everything was done electronically. How everything went so smoothly and efficiently still amazes me. We returned to the UK On 18th December, the 19th being last day before the Handsells Christmas break. By 3pm on the 19th, contracts were exchanged and completion permission was given by us. A big sigh of relief, the vendors sent an invitation to celebrate with a glass of Champagne 🥂 🙂 A big thank you to Emma Duffield as well.

Jane is nothing short of a godsend. We were facing an extremely stressful situation with the preparation and notarisation of several documents, then having them verified by overseas attorneys before finally couriering them. Jane was highly professional, calm, friendly and reassuring just when we needed that most. And, having notarised our documents, she went that extra mile by taking care of the whole thing on our behalf, immediately emailing the papers to the attorneys and sending them by courier. We would have paid almost anything for this sort of real, actual help, so were very pleasantly surprised when we received her invoice. We cannot thank her enough.

I dropped by Hansells on the off-chance that a solicitor could help me with a smallish task. I'd tried two other nearby firms of solicitors who couldn't help. On entering Hansells I was unbelievably fortunate that LW happened to be in reception. She most willingly gave her time immediately to the issue I had. With tea for me, entertainment for tiny grandson both cheerfully proffered by the friendly receptionist and my matter swiftly resolved by LW, it was the kind of experience that inspires faith in human nature and the profession.
