Clear communication and explanation with good expectation setting. I think as a buyer/seller you always want things to move faster. It can be frustrating. We used Rudlings solicitors for the sake of my belated parents property & for purchasing a new property, communication was excellent Caroline or her secretary always replied the same day without fail
The only thing that sometimes got confusing was the online onboarding . However these small problems were always sorted. Exchange & completions of contracts went through smoothly.

Ms Victoria Josif (Partner) was investigated; and found wanting, by the Legal Ombudsman following my complaint for – 1. Disclosure of confidential information to a colleague. 2. Providing a client with inaccurate information on three occasions. 3. Failure to progress a request in a timely manner. 4. Poor communications. For these failing the Legal Ombudsman recommended the firm pay compensation. The recommended compensation was increased for failing to respond to the complaint made on 29 Mar 18. A response to my complaint was received from Stephen McGrath (Partner) on 19 Sep 18, but only after a letter was sent to the firm on 14 Sep 18 by the Legal Ombudsman asking why they had not responded. I would not recommend the services of Rudlings Wakelam, especially as the three people involved in the complaint were the three partners!
