Contacted to get an idea of their costs for dealing with my divorce, seemed helpful and friendly so tried to instruct them. Took them around 2 weeks to send formal costs estimate and had to chase them for it several times. Meanwhile, they drafted one e mail to my ex husband which was basically a rushed cut and paste job using text from my e mail to them, very unimpressive. Decided to leave it there and instruct another firm only to get a letter from Risdon Hosegood over a year later threatening to take action over their bill - which I'd never received and which they'd omitted to enclose with that letter - shoddy work again. Would never use - my divorce was dealt with very efficiently and cost effectively by another local firm.

Although my wife and I were very nervous about completing our Wills and it had taken quite a while for us to approach a Solicitor. We were recommended to approach Risdon's in Wellington. we were not disappointed, and put at ease straight away by Sarah Back who was friendly, professional, efficient, knowledgeable and explained everything a couple of times!!!
