Post-completion formalities cover the steps that follow a property transfer or lease grant in England. A solicitor ensures registration of the title and any charges at HM Land Registry, and handles related filings and notifications, including Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) where applicable. They coordinate with the client’s lenders, ensure discharge of any existing encumbrances, and prepare or review the final deeds and documents to ensure the transaction is legally complete and enforceable.

Thomas Iraqi Your solicitor Thomas Iraqi Associate Solicitor
“I cannot recommend Mashura Siddika highly enough. Having used RFB for more than ten years and worked with several solicitors at the firm, I can honestly say that the service I received from Mashura was exceptional. Throughout the sale of my property, she was consistently professional, patient and highly responsive. After two previous sales had fallen through, the process was understandably stressful, but Mashura remained positive and encouraging and helped me maintain hope that we would finally reach completion. She always replied promptly to my questions and kept me informed at every stage. When the sellers’ solicitors were slow to respond, she was appropriately firm and persistent while remaining professional and respectful. I always felt that she was protecting my interests and doing everything possible to move matters forward. I am immensely grateful to Mashura for her expertise, care and determination in bringing the transaction to a successful conclusion. She is an outstanding solicitor and a tremendous credit to RFB. I would recommend her without hesitation.”
