Poole Alcock was our original solicitor in 1988/89 to assist with emigration. When I then required representation 3 decades later I did not hesitate to return to them. Sarah- Jane Dunhill has been a wonderful in supporting me and offering the best guidance. Thanks to late night calls and the internet Sarah Jane and 2 of her P.A,s. have steered me through a very difficult episode. They have been excellent in their professional knowledge but also in the empathic way they have given advice both written and spoken to me and my family. Although offered to meet/talk on phone anytime, we felt it would be useful to have a brief face to face meeting at the start to explain processes (as we last moved 30 years ago) + also enable us to put a face to the voice. Also more communication, by email especially when no progress has been made, to save us chasing up, particularly when about to exchange contracts.

After much research into firms who dealt with SRA regulatory matters, Richard Nelson LLP offered the most advice and reassurance from the off. Following a lengthy initial consultation with Steve Roberts free of charge, I felt under no obligation to instruct but Steve was happy to offer initial advice. It was an easy decision to instruct Steve and after 10 years of attempting to deal with the SRA myself, thanks to Steve and Shannon I am now succesfully on the path to admission to the roll. Shannon Keenan who assisted on my case was thorough and extremely helpful throughout. Combined Steven and Shannon offer a way for solicitors and legal professionals the clear and precise route that needs to be taken. Steve has a wealth of knowledge in this field and i will forever be grateful to him and Shannon for what they have done.

James Ray was our solicitor for the sale of our house and our onward purchase. He has been exceptional from start to finish! I’d highly recommend Judge & Priestley Sidcup. James has been very helpful in explaining all of the law jargon and keeping us up to date at every step, he’s very good at answering the phone and will always call you back extremely quickly if he’s not available. James would reply to my numerous emails within 24hrs which was very much appreciated! It’s hard to find such a good solicitor who has great communication and doesn’t take weeks to reply! He was excellent at chasing up both our sale and purchase. Even on the odd occasion when James was out of office there were other employees such as Brooke Stevens who would update you and call the onward solicitors to get an update - everyone at the office has been very friendly and easy to deal with! There was an enquiry on our onward purchase that was more complicated than we had hoped but James was great at chasing up information and pushing back on the solicitors to ensure we got the best legal outcome and weren’t just palmed off. Thank you very much, we will definitely be using your firm in the future and really appreciate your patience and excellent communication (hopefully we won’t be moving house anytime soon!)
