Yvonne was so empathetic and helpful throughout the process. As a victim of domestic abuse it felt so reassuring to have a solicitor who was so understanding and knowledgeable. I wish I had her from the very beginning of all my court proceedings, but she still helped me to achieve a positive outcome in the relevant children proceedings. A friend of mine recommended this firm to me and from the every onset Harvey took charge of the case, was so diligent and caring. When you are being prosecuted you need to hire someone who knows the law well enough to represent you so that you don't get hit even harder that you deserve. It happens all the time, the (throwing the book at you method). The book hurts. The police and CPS like to escalate charges. If you don't have a representative who knows what might happen. I had a solicitor from another firm before, same case. His representation was discontinued and I hired a lady from Richard Nelson LLP. She made sure the law remained honest, I was given a consequence that matched my offence not a hugely escalated sentence that would have been unfair. She knows things like what sentencing guidelines the court are empowered with and made a point to the court that they accepted which otherwise would have left me in a position where I would no doubt have been prosecuted again in future. Eve Paterson skillfully negotiated the safe zone between there should be a consequence and escalated charges to make it sound worse than it was. In my very humble opinion,if you are going into a courtroom without her good luck. But if I had a choice I would use Richard Nelson. Eve if possible.

The support I received from David Scully was excellent. I was impressed with his work when I was initially arrested and knew that I wished him to be an integral part of helping me remove my SOPO and getting me off the register. Following my initial contact, David gave me appropriate and relevant advice on what to do and supported the gathering of my evidence ready for the counsel in court. Due to his previous work with me, I was confident that his advice was worth following and my case was successful at its first attempt. I was grateful for his attendance in court with me and provided relevant support to me and the counsel accordingly. Slater Heelis and in particular my solicitor Amy Dawber has been fantastic to work with. I was looking for a solicitor to help with a non molestation and occupation order and was extremely happy with the service provided.
