Tim Grainger

Tagged solicitor Tim Grainger

Having to deal with the employment matter I had was very stressful and damaging to my mental and physical health. So I am happy to say I had a really smooth and supportive experience when put in touch with Fiona Bruce & Co LLP, specifically Tim Grainger and his Secretary Rachal Ward. A friend recommended me Tim's services after they had Tim support them with their own employment case. I asked for contact details and reached out. It wasn't long before Tim got back to me and we started chatting. He was really approachable, friendly and made me feel I could talk to him and discuss my matter without feeling against a countdown or timed meter; this was especially appreciated due to my neurodivergent traits. At the time, I wasn't in immediate need for Tim to take action, so the fact I could build a rapport, update him and ask for small bits of advice throughout my case was really assuring and reduced stress. When I did need Tim's services a few months later - he was honest, clear and timely to provide me good advice and use his legal knowledge to break down concerns and confusion I had while also fighting my corner to get me the best deal I could to my case. Long story short, Tim was able to help me alongside my union put my employer into checkmate and got me a good settlement where all the admin and documentation was easy to access and come in timely manner thanks to Rachel. I work in the video games space that sadly sees not the best treatment for workers, so I am happy to recommend services based on my experience :)

Elizabeth Barrett

Tagged solicitor Elizabeth Barrett

I have never had to request the services of a solicitor for an employment issue before, but having suddenly found myself embroiled in a dispute with my employer, a friend kindly recommended Downs Solicitors. As soon as I was introduced to Liz (Elizabeth Barrett), I immediately felt a sense of reassurance. Liz offers a caring, honest, friendly and approachable manner in equal measures to her professional knowledge, dedication to her work, and a purpose and passion to achieve the desired outcome for her clients. She is an asset to your firm.

Glenn StanburyLisa Brown

Tagged solicitors Glenn Stanbury and Lisa Brown

I recently enaged Spires to assist with a settlement agreement from my employer as part of a redundancy process. From the first call (dealt with efficiently b y Lisa Brown) to resolution the team at Spires made the process swift and simple. I was able to speak to Glenn Stanbury within a day or so and he talked me through every clase in the settlement agreement in plain english, making it really simple for me to understand. He laid out my options, guided me well, but ultimately the decsions were mine. Just before I signed the agreement I needed a last minute check in with Glenn, and he made time for me at very short notice ona Friday afternoon, gave great advie and comfort to sign the agreement. Would have no issue in recommending the team at Spires and will definately consider them for any future legal requirements i may have.
