Thanks Simon for the great review, I have passed your kind words onto Alison and the Cambridge Residential Property team.

I spent £6500 for an easy divorce case and they weren't able to finish the job at all. Their hourly rate is lower than market but they are slower and has incapable solicitors ( at least my solicitor was) which doesn't help hourly charge. Their solicitor checked unsigned legal documents from other party and charged me twice once signed copy received. This must be simple number 1 rule that all legal documents must be signed before taking any action, You don't need to study law for years to learn such a fundamental rule. This is very much profit orientated law company, I would suggest anyone to avoid working with such a law firm at all costs, Go and find doubled hourly rate firm, I guarantee you they will finish your case at lower cost and quicker.

We wanted to get our wills in order and additional advice on having the very confusing LPAs pt in place. Too much for us to understand and deal with, so we considered it worthwhile to get professional advice. it was important for us to understand the legal issues but not to get so confused that we were scared off. We found every stupidly naive question we raised was dealt with through explanation and respect.

I have found Write Hassall Solicitors to be very professional. I have worked with Tracy and Dionne, and both have been exceptionally professional and supportive throughout. I’m very thankful for all of their help and guidance.

I have had my will with Wright Hassall for years. We needed to change some minor details and trying to get this done has been an unpleasant experience in which the whole situation escalated leading me to posting this negative review. They did not seem to be able to return phone calls, book appointments, work out if things should be done remotely or face-to-face and seemed unable to provide a price for their services. I was finally given a price for the work the day before the appointment and the price was as far as I’m concerned excessive. I can write a full new Will with an alternative solicitors for the same price as amending my Will with Wright Hassall. The final straw was then dealing with the head of the private client team who was incredibly defensive, unhelpful and questioned my version of events despite email trails documenting it all. I initially had no interest in escalating this to a complaint but the whole episode has been so badly managed it ended up as a complaint and means I will not use Wright Hassall again. However, worse was the way the complaint was dealt with. I feel that this means other people should be aware and forewarned of the levels of customer service offered by this solicitors.

We took in our wills (no appointment made) for safe keeping, though the practice was very busy, the very next day we received a letter confirming receipt - amazing service.
