In a time of great worry and desperation, I was fortunate enough to be recommended to ABR solicitors, and I must admit it was easily the best decision I made, during a very difficult time. The level of personal support I received was outstanding, and the personal touch was felt throughout the whole process. I did not feel like I was 'just another client'. The flexibility I was given for meetings and appointments, and the communication I received throughout the whole process made me feel like I actually mattered. It's not often said that solicitors care, but in my honest opinion, ABR does care, and it shows in their professionalism and 'on the ball' attitude. I have a lot to thank ABR, James and his team for. From the very beginning, James and the team were non-judgmental, supportive, and honest. They guided me through every step — from the nature of the offence I had committed, to the potential outcomes — always with clarity and compassion.
I was open and truthful about what I had done and had regretted it from day one. I was punishing myself emotionally, but James helped me put everything into context. He made me realise that I wasn’t the bad person I had convinced myself I was.

3.00 am wake up call from North Yorks. Police following a serious allegation by a previous partner. Cheryl Rudden Senior Advocate at ABR Solicitors was there at the Police Station, she then assisted Susannah Procter, Barrister from North Park Chambers Court defending me over the subsequent 3 year nightmare. They were both brilliant and manged to secure a not guilty verdict on each charge. They were professional, approachable and reassuring at all times, I could not have had a better defence team. Highly recommended.

When looking for a solicitor James easily ticked all the boxes. Not only being a solicitor but also being knowledgeable in the mental health department he is easily able to explain things in a way to not cause worry with his clients. James also like to check in with his clients on a regular basis to reassure them. Overall it was a pleasure working with James and his team and a very stress free experience.
