Shocking, DO NOT USE!!
I used CBTC for the sales of my flat and purchase and of my new property and it has been nothing but trouble. They chased for items already sent over weeks back and they were extremely hard to get hold of. When we asked why things weren't done before they replied saying they were too busy. I understand that but respectfully that isn't my problem. We are paying for a service. Please don't take on new clients if can't handle them. They blamed us for missing deadlines that were stated in the documents they previously sent over. I understand they were stated in a document but it isn't always very clear with all the legal terminology. When I asked why they didn't chase up or remind us about this (they're the expert, not us!), our solicitor said she did and the emails must have gone missing as they have that happen sometimes. After I asked her to re-send these emails over, but they never came (because they obviously didn't exist!!). Three months ago we finally completed and I thought this was all over and it wasn't worth complaining about! HOWEVER, the two management company's for the flat have sent me correspondence for the flat regarding outstanding bills. I have informed them I no longer live there, but they said they haven't been informed and sent over the relevant documents from my solicitors. I chased up regarding the first Management Company and they are now aware. However, I am still getting bills from the second one. I have been reassured that CBTC have sent an email with the relevant details. I am choosing to believe this, but I don't understand why they aren't chasing up the management company to confirm they have received it. It has been 3 months since I moved house, and I'm still having trouble!!
